Posted at 11/12/2008 22:11 by aspers Arf....Hi yes, could do with a bit of luck though over on RRR....still hold from the 2p plus days and intend still to be there in the 4p plus days!!!.....as for MNA this is crazy over sold and long term a no brainer me still thinks!! |
Posted at 28/8/2008 15:51 by cerrito The tie up with Romero seems a good deal for many people ie it gives MNA something they have missed good local patrons who can give them local commercial expertise gives Romero a good entry price and which those who buy now would be happy to have.Been out of Peru for some time so would need to check that Romero are still the force they were once..have also been out of MNA for a few months but this will provoke me to get up to speed. note the market with nil volume today was underwhelmed |

Posted at 18/6/2008 14:28 by chesty1 Is it too greedy to ask for one more big tick up before close....nah...Come on MNA. |
Posted at 18/6/2008 07:33 by chesty1 I think there's plenty of us holding this one out there stefield but not much to talk about at the mo UP UNTIL NOW.Very solid & just wish all of my shares were as good as MNA. |
Posted at 18/6/2008 07:30 by chesty1 Morning stefield....Nice moves for the past few weeks now nice n slowly ticking along... Still holding these from £1.20p NICE... Be lucky to all & someone wants your MNA shares. |
Posted at 09/4/2008 14:08 by chesty1 Just got back in from taking the kiddies to the park....& thank you very much MNA back up we go.Be lucky to all & my top up is looking a lot better now. Onwards & Upwards....oops sorry thats the ULT thread. The reason for me topping up after bailing out early doors was the fact that the fall was on no volume at all.....Nice to see her back up there & fully expect this one thru £2 soon. |
Posted at 09/4/2008 08:59 by dssloan glad i sold 8% yesterday..had no idea results were due....at least thanks to chesty1's mention on another board (VOG?) I'm able to forget about looking at day-to-day movements for the next 4-6 months....that 8% goes a long way in Slovakia on top of an English teacher's salary... Just hoping EEL and VOG turn the corner...but in the meantime MNA has given me a buffer zone.... |
Posted at 26/3/2008 19:06 by aimslave Hi cerr - Cheers for the comments. I understand a fall was enevitable after the announcement, although i think the scale of the drop is beyond announcing a delay. It may well just be the MM's robbing the weak as they see value elsewhere, and take their money off the table. I think you pointed out yourself, that in the mining sector a fall of over 60% in a company with a proven resource on an announcement of a delay is over done, and yes quite rare.(show me a miner that doesnt experience delays) Cripes they would all be worth 0p if they lost 60%+ every time a delay was mentioned. Lets not forget, MNA is moving out of explorer stage, the asset is proven, MNA doesnt need to prove to the market that copper is usefull. I assume small bio tecs and alternative fuel sectors will suffer worse than some sectors due to the extra risks that any new product simply may not work as planned, or as the technologys are new, there is no guarntee even if it does work, that people will want it. Copper does what it says on the tin, (excuse the pun). :o) i realise the DFS needs to be completed, to futher derisk the project, but the chinese want that copper, and i for one think they will get at it. Not if, but when. -------------------- From recent RNS's "As the DFS considered an operation treating 25Mt per year over a 20 year life, utilizing only 40% of the resource, Management is concerned that a number of components of the DFS design will limit long term mine expansion and hence prevent the full potential of this important resource being realized." -------------------- And later "I am confident that the new options being prepared for evaluation by the trade off study will provide opportunities to unlock considerable value from Rio Blanco and also improve environmental and social aspects of the project." -------------------- So they are looking to produce more copper, quicker than was previously indicated, and are now working on how they can make that happen. Seems a decent reason for a delay IMO, But more importantly i think it does not justify the level of savaging the S/P is getting. Its all good though, keep falling pleaseeeeeeee. A truck load at 80p would be dandy. Edited - All IMHO please DYOR I dont hold yet just to clarify my position.... |
