12/5/2009 14:59 | why sell at 100p? this will be resolved with : profits and eps growing = 16-18p eps x 10 = 180p or a private equity bid - 140-180p? or eps will decline, but even they halve, the p/e would only be 7.5 at 60p on a balance of probabilities basis the price must surely double at least before there is a resolution? | ydderf
12/5/2009 10:57 | I agree. the shares are due a re-rating to 80/100p in my view very soon. snow | snowman10
12/5/2009 08:27 | The pension deficit problem relates purely to the valuation of their investments. How can it be "as good as debt" if in 2008 it yielded a £3.4million credit???? With markets picking up I would expect this to be at worst neutral in the current year. | donemyhomework2
12/5/2009 07:31 | cw2000, I would hardly call it a problem!!! From the accounts "However, in 2009 it is expected that rather than a net pension credit, which in 2008 was GBP3.4m, the Group will be reporting a net pension cost of around GBP2m. The significant movements in the financial markets in the past year have resulted in a much reduced accounting valuation of the surplus at the end of 2008 compared with twelve months earlier" The review is June, so I would see this as being worst case. gg | greengiant
11/5/2009 22:19 | greengiant - no debt? what about the pension defecit problem? as good as debt surely. can someone confirm the value of this liability please. | cw2000

19/4/2009 21:47 | Good things come to those who wait, should not be too long now. | rogerbridge
19/4/2009 19:32 | there is some value in here with a NAV of 200p and looks as though it could catch up with the revaluation of the sector recently. good to see the bid on the up. reckon this could ease to 50p in a short time | empirestate
14/4/2009 16:00 | On the move at last. | rogerbridge
07/4/2009 08:08 | Thanks ydderf. | rogerbridge
31/3/2009 13:14 | many small caps moving up recently, i detect a new tone, majority of the biz in this share is done on Plus, most days there are a few thousand traded so it seems unloved even though it isn't......my feeling is that there is a steady buyer building a stake through Plus market parcels.....take a look for yourselves | ydderf
23/3/2009 18:32 | I still believe there is lomg term value here, nice to see a tick up. | rogerbridge
17/3/2009 15:47 | Now I know where these are traded and got some you have all gone!!! | donemyhomework2
11/3/2009 13:03 | Found the link; its PLUS Markets; 67,000 traded today!! Also saw 272,394 traded on 5 March and 193,768 on 6 March | donemyhomework2
11/3/2009 12:59 | I have bought some today but doesnt show. I recall another platform but the name now escapes me; it may come back to me soon!! | donemyhomework2
11/3/2009 11:35 | odd how most of the volume never marks, my 100 @ 25 didn't and I was offered a further 250 @ 26 the same day which went elsewhere....i know some business is done on another platform which I rarely bother to check, but the price is being walked up with no apparent volumelessness, yet 1/2 mill at least have changed hands since last Thursday......funy old game ain't it? | ydderf
06/3/2009 18:04 | LoL - Hatetrader - TND and all the rest you trade out of on the quiet that are dogs like your MUBL lol - 3 years in that and it's done nowt! rogerbridge - yep, MLIN looks 'ok' but do I want to buy 'ok' when 'screaming cheap' is on offer all over the place and still no takers? And then you have Frauddy with a couple of hundred K who will be flogging out as soon as he's break even (if he ever gets there). Can you imagine what a 200K seller does to the price when they keep dripping out. Yeah, I've had my losers too - I've not met anyone who's perfect so far tho Frauddy would claim to be. He has a hobby of going around telling others how they've done badly and how he's 'the master'. I'm simply pointing out if you follow the 'master' you end up in the destert for 40 days and 40 nights! Have a good hard look at the chart and it's decline - those declines don't change without fundamental board change. When you have the old guard doing the same old thing in a recession rather than boom it's going nowhere imo. I'll wait to see new directors with a few badges of honour and director buying before I want to buy these. Long standing poor management doesn't just become good management overnight. Even if they got a lot of new directors in today you won't see the fruit for 18 months to two years imo. Freddy reckoned he bought a load more yesterday - can't see his trade(s). The price moved down on one 30K trade that he reckons is a buy - I'm not convinced. The pension surplus is now a deficit. Final divi halved - they won't pay the 2.5p divi in H1 imo, not if H2 is only 2.5p now. The falling £ will hurt them imo and sales are falling. I really can't see why anyone would want that in this market when there's so much cheaper around but Freddy loves these dreams that some how there will be some sudden upturn, investors will get excited about assets that are tied up and the stock will soar. Can't see it myself but good luck. | cockneyrebel
06/3/2009 08:13 | Well said roger ! Both CR and Freddy are perfect traders, they both never lose, their tips have crashed but they never lose ever ever ever ! Arrogant traders, both better off on the filter ! | 8trader
06/3/2009 08:08 | Don,t want to get personal CR but these look o.k.at this price and even you must admit a few of your hyped shares are looking dross in this market. | rogerbridge
05/3/2009 18:35 | Bought more at 26p again not showing. CR i have taken your comments to heart. I will attend the AGM and ask some difficult questions. At the rate of my buying i may be a non-exc soon. snow | snowman10 |
