fozzie - Not trying to be harsh, but the market cap is exceptionally high for the kind of figures that MBT is making, and the lack of news that is is releasing. Its valuation definitely includes the 'mobile tech premium', although I'm not convinced its justified

If the directors feel that MBT can stand on its own, thats a good thing and a positive isn't it? This share has fallen over 30% on no news and very low volume. Buys have no effect, the smallest sale prompts a markdown. I don't generally subscribe to mm antics but this all seems very starnge.

I think the cause may be this fozzie. The proceeds from sale of ITO Managed Services for £65m is being largely distributed to shareholders of ITO. There will be no capital injection into MBT.

The directors of MBT clearly feel that the business is sufficiently well-financed. But it does mean that ITO will no longer provide a cash cushion for MBT. That elevates the risk.

What i don't get is the small volume that has wiped off 30% off the mcap here. It has certainly been a very expensive last few months. Last i heard they were proceeding with several interesting contracts. There have been no significant share sales at any time over the last few months, there has been the odd 25,000 sell but nothing to speak of really. The shares are very tightly held and its just very odd that we are down here at 18p.

Small volume and yet down circa 20% over the last few weeks. I don't think the house broker can be working very hard with a tgt price of 32p recced not so long ago.

Intechnology, which effectively owns MBT, has completed the sale of its Managed Services business, raising £65m in cash. I'm sure there'll be a special dividend paid to ITO's shareholders, but the remaining cash will provide very strong financial and investment stability for MBT.

I must admit to be being perplexed by the movement in share price here. Lots of buying since the Telus announcement and one or two very big buys with very few sells and yet we are off and seemingly heading lower. Strange.

Nice piece in todays Yorkshire Post about the Telus deal which Investec say could be worth £3.75 million per year in recurring revenue. The COO also says that the deal will be an important reference for other companies looking to adopt the technology. I am slightly disappointed in the share price reaction especially as the brokers own target is 32p and we were above that on pure speculation some time ago. We now have some substantive news and some buying volume and yet the share price is fairly flat. Trades of 150k and 133k in the last few days. Whatever i am holding tightly.
