Pursuant to the general authority given to the Company by shareholders, the Company announces that it has purchased ordinary shares of 2.5p each ("Shares") as follows:

Date of purchase: 18 July 2016

Number of Shares purchased: 104,000

Highest price paid: 244.80p

Lowest price paid: 237.30p

Trading venue: London Stock Exchange

The purchase represented an average price of 240.43p per Share.

The purchased Shares will be cancelled. Following this purchase and cancellation, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 353,473,989.
