30/4/2015 11:18 | Thanks paleje, well worth a watch and good to hear Jose sounding so positive. I've stuck it in the header. | rambutan2
30/4/2015 10:25 | Jose presented at UK Investor on 16th April, worth a 20min watch. | paleje
19/3/2015 08:51 | Well we got news today, but change in CFO is not exactly the news I wanted. I have asked Vasquez if we can expect a trading update soon via twitter. I'll keep you posted, but I imagine most on this board follow Jose on twitter anyway. | stewy_18
09/3/2015 12:41 | Im Out. Still on W/L | pj 1
06/3/2015 09:03 | IMO Vasquez has done everything he said he would. I will maintain my holding until the story changes (by which time it is usually too late:( ), but for me, the situation will change once the first Tier 1 customer rolls out. IMO, other Tier 1 customers are waiting to see how successful it is before jumping on board. I think this year will be interesting, but patience is needed. I'm still optimistic. I guess it comes down to whether you believe things are happening in the background or not. Time will tell.... | stewy_18
06/3/2015 08:33 | I have recently reduced heavily here. So can now get out easily if it turns down. Can't put my finger on it but its just starting to feel things are not right here, thats all. Someone is mopping them up thugh so there is a buyer in the background. Should increase my holdings if it turns up...Co need to under promise nad over deliver, not the other way around. Really disappointed with MIRA afer all the CEO hype Normal story | pj 1
23/2/2015 15:12 | I think the answer to your sniffing was probably just a runny nose, although we are still on the up :-) | amont92051
20/2/2015 12:12 | Do I sniff something is going to be in the w/e press? Or is it just news gradually filtering through..... DL | davidlloyd
18/2/2015 15:37 | This Vázquez optimism is clearly catching.... DL | davidlloyd
18/2/2015 15:32 | A couple more tier 1 contracts David..... :) | stewy_18
18/2/2015 15:12 | per year? :-) DL | davidlloyd
17/2/2015 15:36 | Video interview with CEO Vazquez Set top box software specialist mirada (LON:MIRA) has announced the commercial launch of its multi-screen product Iris for Cablevisión Monterrey in Mexico. José Luis Vázquez, mirada’s chief executive officer, tells Proactive Investors that a back of the envelope calculation indicates that the size of the contract is ahead of market expectations. “The technical implementation has been perfect,” he added. The speed at which the product is rolled out is in the hands of mirada’s partner, but if rolled out across the whole subscriber base it could mean licensing revenues of 18 to 20 million dollars for mirada. | proactivest
17/2/2015 09:46 | Yep not knocking it Stewy, I see it as a showcase too but would have liked a better explanation, a road map to use popular jargon, showing how it's going to progress to the expected turnover and profit increases suggested in previous RNS's. I think it might not be as quick as we might have hoped. New Tier 1 contracts (with real 'new' co's) will be the stimulus for the re-rate. Maybe an interview or two will explain it better, Jose isn't camera shy:) | paleje
17/2/2015 09:04 | It is half term too here in blighty, so quieter than normal anyway..... DL | davidlloyd
17/2/2015 08:58 | Only followers know up to now.Wait for the ripple effect.wdik | rhiannon
17/2/2015 08:46 | I don't think you can furnish an RNS like this with figures Paleje. That comes later. He has stated in presentations what a roll out like this means in financial terms. I think this tells us (and more importantly other potential customers) that the roll out has begun. It is my belief that other Tier 1 customers are looking to see how this goes first before jumping on board. I might be wrong but I don't think the significance of this announcement can be underestimated. We shall see. Best Stuart | stewy_18
17/2/2015 08:40 | I suspect quite a few are reviewing their position here. Why does a Tier 1 require a 'breakthrough' of the Company? Unfortunately I am away from home and cannot research as much AS i'D like The whole thing including share price reaction is feeling very bizarre imo | pj 1
17/2/2015 08:20 | Good news that progress is being made but I'm not at all sure from the RNS what it actually means, it seems like a partial rollout, we don't know how many subscribers, Bortoni's comment suggests its for new subscribers so far. More work ongoing to the existing service and extensions into new territories still to come. But no numbers, very difficult to assess as usual with Vasquez's announcements....ful René Bortoni; CEO at Television Internacional (Cablevision Monterrey) commented: "We are excited to announce the new DVB offering for new subscribers of our Pay TV and Triple Play services, it will transform the Customer Experience of watching TV. Mirada is a key player of this breakthrough of the Company." | paleje
17/2/2015 07:34 | Yes, I hope this just is the beginning. Great news and I think others will follow, but I can't be sure of the time frame. | stewy_18
17/2/2015 07:30 | Looks like a few more will be watching this now stewy- Great to see this news at last! DL | davidlloyd
05/2/2015 15:26 | I am watching this space Jose :)) Like a hawk. Patience required here me thinks. | stewy_18
