Callumross you could try but you can rarely trade it.
When the bid price equals the offer price it is known as a locked market. When the bid price is greater than the ask price it is known as a crossed market. This can occur when a security is traded in more than one place and the bid at one location is greater than the offer at another location.

You can read a reasonable good article about why this occurs at

If you really could sell at 12p in 100k volume and could buy same amount at 11.75p, then why the hell did no-one do this and pocket a riskless £250??? Doesn't make sense.

Hi scotty, yes i did thanks. Though i wouldnt be surprised if Mr Webb wasnt an offloader of a few. His fund is top heavy in mira. The alternative is one of the Spaniards, although not Barings.

ram "but the shareprice (and the spread) doesnt lie."

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

It's easy to misread the trades etc, but the shareprice (and the spread) doesnt lie.

scotty, there is a big seller and has been for months. Hopefully the current interest will take them out. When it happens, with the limited liquidity, the mms will quickly push the price higher. aimho

Mexico's Televisa Group is seeking to implement a new operating model for Cablevision to build synergies between its broadcast and cable operations, reports CNN Expansion. The TV group has for months been preparing the Veo project, a Netflix-type platform that will air programming from Cablevision via the internet, including the free-to-air channels of Televisa. The company is still working on how to integrate the lusacell mobile services, with one option being the provision of quad-play packages.

Very much so.

Worth noting that Chase Noms, which took all the most recent placing, and now holds 28%, has only come in over the last 12mths. I'm sure that at some stage they must have picked up the 2.5m "stranded" Lehman Bros shares off mkt, so that is gd news as was a potential overhang.

That last placing was the first in which the cornerstone investors ie Barings and the Spanish families, hadn't kept up their percentage. Which interesting.
