strangely, although the full year figures were only released a few weeks ago, we are only a couple weeks away from the interims to 30th September!

Thanks to KaChing of LSE chatroom for highlighting this paragraph from the finals:

"After the year end it has been publicly announced that Televisa Group, the largest media corporation in the Hispanic market, has an agreement with the owners of Cablecom to acquire a controlling stake in Cablecom. This is fantastic news for mirada because, if approved by the Mexican authorities, this means our Company would be working with the Televisa group. This gives us the opportunity to showcase our capabilities and the potential for an agreement to deploying our technology over more than 5 million cable set-top-boxes in the region."

Televisa group has Sky Mexico as a subsidiary. Sky Mexico is expected to close in 2013 with 6 million subscribers:

Well I thought plenty to be upbeat about in the results, although big worries over the cash/balance sheet remain. But hey, that's why MIRA is cheap!

Worth noting that Cablecom didn't go live until the 5th month of Mira's year, and Axtel not until the penultimate month, whereas they kick in from the start in the current financial year.

Well worth going through the full accounts...

i agree big bolinger break and with Red Bee taken out who are directly connected with us ,read HY and Ericsson taking out Microsoft IPTV and stating will use MIRA in over 50% of projects and Ericsson having the biggest global slice now and further talk in interview earlier this year by our CEO of take out one route to share holder value , compared to microsoft deal we are pennies , could easily see take out this year at a huge premium for now a march back into 13-15 range on FY and in November on HY where it really will accelerate with licence fee's 15-20p imo

A significant move up before results perchance?

I am guessing results issued this Friday to give papers chance to report over the weekend.....

Forgot to post this from start of July...

Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC), a world-leading provider of communications technology and services, today announced its intention to acquire Red Bee Media, a world-leading media services company headquartered in the UK, from an entity controlled by Macquarie Advanced Investment Partners, L.P.

MIRA did work for Red Bee, and of course Ericsson are our strategic partners - albeit I wish they would hurry up a bit and do another deal with us involved!

In any case, worth noting.

470k dumped this morning at 8.75p, explains the drop. There are some instit holders who would like to get rid of shares, but hopefully will wait and get the chance to sell into strength over the next 12mths. 8.75p strikes of desperation.

Odd share price action today. I wouldnt be surprised to see this up before days end as it looks like trying to tempt out some weak holders ....

ember,

so true, believe people missed out the bottom bit. I think no one actually read the RNS and just seen the notice of general meeting

Unfortunately we finished red but tomorrow is another day. Besides quite encouraging is the bottom bit of today's RNS about increased revenues and improved
loss before tax. GL

Looks to me like we are going to finish blue today - and the MMs have played the game to suck in some sells. Thats my rose tinted view anyway.

ryan83 ........ That's because the costs that you are referring to are largely just general maintenance costs of the products already in use with certain customers ........... I'm sure the March 2013 year end results will show slightly higher costs because they will also be associated with the new products for Cablecom and Axtel as well as the product for the Dec 2012 contract that were in use before the end of the year in March just gone.......... Margins should still be high though, 86% in the last full year accounts, so around that figure I would think.

The R&D costs come off after the costs you are talking about and they are grouped with "admin" costs, hence only a small profit after tax on the £2.4m in revenue .......... But we are all hoping that that profit is going to grow substantially from here!

As for full year results, the year ended March 2013 so we won't see the results until Sept/Oct

The spring newsletter backs up what the CEO was saying, they are in advanced negotiations with other companies on top of those announced already

hope the above makes sense
