So Cantors 25k now taken out (not me guv)and they have moved to the bid on 2.10. Four market makers on the ask @ 2.50 but they are all only offering 15k lots.

No liquidity here. Following an earlier buy this morning I tried several follow ups which went to negotiated trade, even the last one at a paltry 15k, which was all that was on offer on the ask, so I bit the bullet on that and it eventually went through on NT.

That MM then immediately withdrew from the book, so the ask has ticked up to 2.40 but Cantor Fitzgerald are only offering 25k lots at that price and we now have three market makers on the bid at 2p.

Any more buying pressure and this could go ballistic, news or not.

We live in hope dc

We know the directors 11 million options run out at the end of December 2019 so no doubt these will Be renewed.

Therefore there should be an rns before then .

To impact the share price positively Ce will need to announce clear unambiguous evidence of progress

A slight head of steam building, any positive news this week could easily see up back up to 4p before any confirmed deal announced in the New Year.
Here’s hoping anyway.

London roadshows prove investor interest

www.ekathimerini.com/247295/article/ekathimerini/business/london-roadshows-prove-investor-interest

Greece is now putting out a strong signal on the radars of major investors, which is probably the country’s biggest recent achievement, proving that foreign portfolios view Greek assets as serious investments.

Kathimerini understands that the participation of quality investors is related to two developments: the significant narrowing of bond yield spreads, and the fact that investors have stopped seeing Greece as high-risk country; instead it is viewed as on the road to normality.

I have a feeling the market needs a bit more than that DC, they have (it would seem) been in negotiations with interested parties for the past three years. The change in conditions / investment opportunities that the new govt are keen as mustard to encourage should be leading us to a natural conclusion soon ( and not down the proverbial garden path).

A bit more promising today, an “in negotiations with interested parties” RNS would go down a treat in the next few trading days.

400K buys and nothing.

It would have been explosive something or another in the downwards direction if there were 400K sold, probably down 20-25%.

Explosive growth for hotel investments in Greece

Estimates show that investments in Greek hotels and the broader tourism sector over the next five years will reach 9 to 10 billion euros, of which 7 billion euros will be funded by local banks through loans. These investments come after new hotel units were recently built in Athens, Thessaloniki and other popular parts of the country.

Interest from foreign hotel groups looking to boost their presence in the Greek market is growing as they work on development plans for tens of new units.

Well I make a prediction here the next rns whenever it is may well impact the share price significantly.

Any suggestion of tangible progress being made should close the gap between asset value
And share price.

If it is an rns in line with previous rns statements then I suspect we will go lower

Which of course begs the question why we are still waiting.!

Negatives

Given the sale of travel to a connected party at a disappointing transaction value
Given the continued loan to Zechary and the issue of a significant number of warrants
Some will have little confidence in the ability of the bod to get a deal for shareholders.

Given the time it takes to do anything the zechary loan repayment looms large and will soon take centre stage.

Positives

The market is currently attributing nothing like fair value to the underlying asset.
Given some holders of long term debt converted to equity at prices of up to 3p one would
Normally think that they would not have done this without believing they would get a positive return.

We are now in Effectively in December still waiting for the bod to update us.

Yes it only takes one good deal ...

If everything is in place I shouldn't think it will exert so much pressure on his ability. Hopefully all these positive and exciting events have rubbed off on the project - it only needs one after all to come good.

Chinese banks have ambitious plans for Greece

The entry of two giant Chinese banks in Greece is only a recent development and their presence remains discrete. But they have big plans for Greece as the country is part of the new Silk Road, placing the Mediterranean country within the strategic plans prepared by the Asian lenders.

Despite widespread talk that the two lenders will mainly stick to assisting Chinese investments in the country, Bank of Greece officials have been informed, according to sources, that they are interested in doing business in three key areas: financing large Greek projects, lending to Chinese businesses and helping Chinese companies looking to invest in Greece.

FWIW over the last year to 30th November Minoan Group shares bought by individuals/companies amounted to 45.3M and sold by individuals/companies amounted to 37.5M (with a ? over 1.2m). On the assumption that the unknown transactions were actually shares being bought that means net shares bought above sold for the year was 9 Million.

On only three of the last twelve months were there net sales above buys -Feb(0.35M),May(1M) & this month Nov(0.3M). the other nine months there were net buys with the highest Dec(1.8M)and there have been five months when they are more than 1M.

Makes me wonder should there ever be a surge in buying (dare I suggest such a thing) the market maker coffers will need to be urgently replenished as I don't reckon they are holding that many now and certainly not been overwhelmed with shares sold.

It remains to be seen what will happen on a positive update on progress via rns but because there has been blanket silence for months the immediate effect on the market should be considerable IMV.

mdvorkin, actually Greece has probably been the best market to invest this year, even beating the US. MIN is currently over looked but hopefully that will change soon and better reflect the over all positive situation in Greece

The mantra from Boris is misleading.
We must get Brexit Done he says
He means we must get the withdrawal agreement through parliament.

Then the real negotiations start...
