I buy PUT Options in a stock so that I have longer to be right with limited risk. Even if I do get not get the total collapse of this stock, (what I mean by that is a value of say $80-85), then trading it near the top of its current high will still give me a good risk/reward ratio with any small move to the downside giving smaller financial rewards.

I do hope you're right on this kvu. That the most influential stock in the Dow is within a dollar or two of its all time high would be seen as suspicious by many, but I trust nobody reading this would be so cynical.

Glad I took advice and have limit orders in on these options. Makes life a lot easier and you don't pay the asking price on most contracts as they filled mid-market.

Bought the April 2003: $130 Strike Puts @ $6.90. Got filled on three contracts and have various others being worked at different prices. Will update header and post my initial investment to see how it works over the course of this thread.

Nice charts....they have been added to the header as you would say.

Double bottom made on two and ten day charts at around 125.20
Is this a time for a bounce back off the bottom bolly and back into the 127/128 range? Looking for to buy April or July 2003 puts at around $6.50 for the $130 strike options. Looks like the stock has found good support on the 5 day moving average so we maybe on for the final bounce before the ultimate fall. I will be updating this thread on a daily basis so I hope you professionals out there find it useful.
