30/4/2007 21:20 | off the website During 2006 rainy season a permanent new field camp was established near the village of Bougadale and just a few hundred metres from the Komana West deposit. Accommodation, canteen and office facilities catering for 25 personnel have been completed. Drilling results at Komana West continue to impress and it is planned to complete the initial resource calculation following the conclusion of the current drilling campaign in June. | ![]() tsmith2
30/4/2007 20:20 | Serpico, What Im trying to say is that the potential wave of positive newsflow between now and AGM time is EXCELLENT. The newsflow between then and the RNS relating to the KOmana resource is likely to be slower. Then we will have the interims results which really doesnt mean a lot unless of course GEX decide to use the interims notice to include the resource estimate details. Im not giving any share price projections but whatever the share price does Im in until at least GEX makes the decision on the final step to exploit the Komana deposit. And from now on when I buy I intend buying in 100K blocks. | ![]() bongo bwana
30/4/2007 19:38 | Must admit, took another bite of this shiny apple this morning. With the positive news flow from GEX and the momentum the share price has this should break out over 12p with comparable ease. Which should be supported by the imminent drill results from Komana which we surely expect will be just as good as the previous reports. With money sorted, komana drill result by next week, Komana JORC within 2 months, continued drilling with gold fields at Sankarani and a look at what solona might hold for GEX I suspect we won't be able to buy at these levels for long. Although my time frame is a little longer than this October. | ![]() serpicouk
30/4/2007 18:09 | Dave, The 26 April RNS said we would have more Komana drilling results in two weeks - very probably some of us here have topped up in anticipation. I did today. What I particularly liked was the rather bizarre announcement about taking a short break to do some scout drilling on the Solona concession. With luck they could probably dig 6 to 8 holes within three weeks before taking the rig back to Komana West. The assays are done in Mali at Morila so it's just possible that if the results are encouraging Hugh could pull a rabbit out of the hat at the AGM. | ![]() pecker1

30/4/2007 17:14 | looking at other gold exploration co's there drills talk about 0.36grams and such like and they are bouyant so the potential of this imo is to say the very least very good.. | ![]() stenick
30/4/2007 16:21 | The nice, steady progress continues - all we need now is more news to help sustain it. | ![]() spaceparallax

30/4/2007 14:36 | 9p yorgi, strong buy up to 12p i believe. 1 year target of 18p, but that was very cautious indeed. Think he may revise that figure at some point. Maybe even an update today according to the website. | ![]() robbi123
30/4/2007 14:34 | What did TW tip these at then ? I have forgotten.....and what did he think they might be worth ? | ![]() yorgi

30/4/2007 12:55 | Robbi, I know Ur excited when I see that you mention the AGM will be held around October, LOL. As I said earlier this morning the AGM will most likely, be held in early June. The reason why early October is significant is because this is the proximate date for the release of the interim results (financially, a revenue non event) which are likely to coincide or thereabouts with the resource estimate announcement. It is this open ended figure which will have us all operating our calculators furiously to see how the measured resource might translate into revenue and how that figure relates to the market capitalisation at that time. Remember to factor in $200 x the number of inferred ounces in the ground if gold is circa $1,000/ounce. | ![]() bongo bwana
