Just going back off the boil after the share tip. Probably helps a few get in and out quick so don't read too much into this. 9.5p seems reasonable risk weighted value.

At the 2006 AGM Hugh Mc DID state that drilling would take place on GEX's Ghananian license area but that it would not be done by GEX.

In order for this to be the case GEX would need to complete an agreement with another mining/exploration entity and have that company mobilise itself to commence the drilling ASAP after the end of the rainy season. Not a lot of time left for such an announcement IF there is going to be one.

So often with the junior miners we hear whispers of news to come, but it takes so long that the overall effect on share price can be negative - please let it come soon.

Glencar Targets Mali after €330k Share Issue
Wednesday September 13th 2006

GLENCAR Mining has issued two million new shares as part-payment for a 95pc interest in four gold exploration licences in Mali, the company said yesterday.

The shares are worth €330,000 at yesterday's closing price of 16.5c - the stock having fallen from 17c at the opening of the trading session.

The issue was part of an agreement under which Glencar could raise its stake in licences where it has already identified encouraging signs of extensive gold mineralisation.

Chief executive Hugh McCullough has already described the Mali project in glowing terms. Its Komana gold project in particular was said to contain "bonanza-grade" gold deposits.

The agreement yesterday covers acreage in the Bokoro, Sanioumale, Farasaba and Komana licences areas in southern Mali.

In May, Glencar said it found significant ore-grade gold at a site 250 metres south of an area first drilled in December last year at the Komana West project.
