Thank you for your comment.

I was a bit diffident about posting here about STI at all, but the excitement has been building for me on this one since the back end of April. The Chairman's comments in the RNS of 25/4/06 are, in particular, worth a careful read...... :-)

Good to see the share price recovery and still plenty of solid buying this morning.

OFF TOPIC

I'm in to GEX because of the exciting potential and assayed grades at Komana. I'm also in another gold /PM stock that has today just announced further excellent grades/length and looks to have massive potential similar to GEX.

Yes, I know, I know..."yet another ramp from some guy on the make......yawn, yawn.... He's hoping I'll buy shed loads in order to make his investment more successful....seen it all many times before....etc.etc."

So, my apologies if I've wasted your time, but if you aren't into it already, have a research look at Stratex International (STI). The past few months news releases and the Minesite article of 20/7 will, I think, mean that your time will not be wasted.

sorry tonudiki...his write ups are copyrighted...anyone posting them on a bb will get into trouble.

TW has this as a speculative buy...Drilling restarts after the rains have finished....which is expected to be in about 8 weeks time...so no news until then.

On the subject of whether 1.12 g/tonne is commercial:-

At this sort of grade, a tonne of rock would deliver about $25

There are certainly commercial copper deposits at 0.7%, which are reckoned to be commercial at around $1.25/lb. I make that $19 per tonne of rock.

I guess it all depends on the particular circumstances.

On further investigation, Avocet Mining commercially mine grades less than 1.12g/tonne in Tajikistan so it is clearly possible.
