...........there's now the league to concentrate on 4screws. Your assessment is unnecessarily bleak in my opinion. All is not lost - we are only 6 weeks into the season for christ's sake.

revenue will drop even more now as disinterested fans desert the den, share price will fall in sympathy...not looking good at all.

They really seem to have lost their sparkle just lately.

More or less coincided with when I invested. Maybe I should do you all a favour and sell up.

Another badly un company grabbing the small shareholders cash with MASSIVE capitalisation. 1000 to 1. This seems standard practice lately.
Shareholders who have loyally supported their "club" by subscribing to a sucsession of rights issues are being sidelined.
This has happened to me at least 20 to 30 times in the last few years. I am not a large investor by any means.

...........jfishy55 - I didn't say "development opportunities valued at £8m" I meant the whole thing. The team, the manager, the land, the championship status etc. The company is a steal at this price.

By the way I've upped my stake by a further 5m today.

"an excellent manager"

The management of this *company* have systematically destroyed value & cash over many years.

"development prospects valued at just over £8m"

Wasn't that why Theo Paphitis got in...then decided it just wasn't worth it & got out? If the land was going to be developed, they should have done it years ago when they were talking about it. And the company could have been bought for 5m then.

Support the football by going along & watching.
Support the business by buying the shares.

Don't do both...I recommend the first, at least until such time as an investor buys the company, gets rid of the football & redevelops the land into some fantastic shopping mall or apartment complex etc. But I don't believe that will happen anymore!
