These idiots were paying a premium for assay results by sending them out of state to get a quicker turnaround. Very expensive business given the number of spiv outfits in WA. All fun when it's someone else's money.

They need this next set of drilling to hit the gold lodes they suspect are there, if this additional time to analyze the information helps them to do that then it's time well spent. Frustrating that they aren't ready by now, but that's exploration stocks for you. The cash position right now is a hindrance, but should be enough for them to drill.

I disagree with the "splays" meaning that this isn't worth looking at, if they hit multiple stacked gold loads it all changes here.

By the time they do start drilling it's more than likely gold will be over 2,000 US an oz.

Back to sleep again with this one.

Yes, disappointing. More waiting required while they sort out the next set of drilling. Would have thought that they had enough time to sort this over the last 4 months.

"However, given the risks associated with exploration and the high costs of drilling in Western Australia, we are spending the funds prudently and do not believe it appropriate to continue drilling without mitigating as much exploration risk as possible."

For me that is as clear a warning that money is running out and at the very least they will soon be back cap in hand for another raise .. and that won't be easy in this banking environment.

Some of you are alright. Hence my post at 459. Mila has always been a lifestyle company for Stephenson. How do you make a pig ear's of a WA gold licence.

Not great investment but statement ain't that bad but glad i've not averaged down

However, given the risks associated with exploration and the high costs of drilling in Western Australia, we are spending the funds prudently and do not believe it appropriate to continue drilling without mitigating as much exploration risk as possible. Consequently we are now working methodically through the geological data and moving more slowly than previously anticipated.

In line with this revised strategy, post period our team has been collaborating closely with the on-site personnel at Kathleen Valley and expert consultants to analyse and interpret the data gathered from our drilling operations. We are currently evaluating the risk and reward of drilling further at depth and reviewing additional targets on the licence area.

Interesting goings on in our adjacent neighbours project. Next one to receive an opportunistic low ball bid, BGL?!

LTR up 68% on the back of this news.

"The Australian miner maintains it has significantly de-risked its key Kathleen Valley lithium project, with mining operations commencing, construction progressing, and the project on track to deliver in mid-2024".
