12/7/2005 21:31 | not long now :) | drbeat
13/6/2005 07:02 | So what's the rumour this time - presumably a reverse in to MST - but by whom/what kind of company? Got rid of 75% of my holding, about flat, but still got a slug of these tucked away. I'd be interested to hear what people have been getting excited about - particularly those who have been adding to their positions. | reg5
12/6/2005 20:41 | I am getting an itchy finger also | frances2
10/6/2005 13:40 | you are right LOM2 and I've just topped up with a further 25000 | callumross
09/6/2005 16:26 | any reasoning there LOM2? weren't you in the pink panther films? | wal footrot
09/6/2005 16:11 | oh sooooooo juicy juicy this one, im getting a v warm feelin inside ....50p target imo | lom2
26/5/2005 10:06 | Well, a little bit of movement recently - so it's not completely dead. Still holding despite being bored to death with this one. Boring Old REG | reg5
29/4/2005 10:49 | I never actually said that they were going to return the cash in my post last weekend, merely that they would announce this week that no suitable acquisition had been found | callumross
29/4/2005 10:28 | Callumross, looks as if you are being a tad too pessimistic. The statement indicates that there are still options under consideration and the tone suggests that they are close to a deal(s). | mbaxter
27/4/2005 12:57 | callumross Does that mean we are due a return of funds to shareholders? I was aware that one of the companies they had been talking to - at great length - had chosen to IPO. I was just hoping that they might have had more success elsewhere. Time to move on to fresh pastures - once I get my money back from them. REG | reg5
24/4/2005 20:24 | sorry guys - I believe that the company will announce this week that they have been unable to find a suitable acquisition - all vey disappointing, especially for us long term holders. On the brighter side, my other cash shell, Mark Kingsley (MKP), is, I believe, close to finalising a major reverse takeover. You win some, you lose some! | callumross
29/3/2005 10:44 | well, my 'dig' turned up nothing. An email to the kind people at business.com got the reply that the URL is incorrect and will be removed from the site. Thought it was too good to be true. I will wait for teh results. | wal footrot
15/3/2005 20:58 | what an odd anomaly (?) I have no experience of that site but why on earth should they have a link like that? unless there is something going on, but surely if that were the case then it would be good form to inform the market first?! will have a dig... | wal footrot
15/3/2005 17:00 | callumross It's not a wind up - click on the link to Mid States - it takes you to Thai Petroleum. It may well be a mistake but I'm only telling it how it is. | reg5
15/3/2005 15:10 | a wind up! | callumross
15/3/2005 15:03 | Reg, What is this about a link up with Thai Petroleum? | mjcrockett
15/3/2005 14:48 | Reg5: We can't be too far from some sort of news: Prelims were out on: 2/4/02 7/3/03 29/4/04 So they could be out any time over the next month or so. | baggywrinkle
15/3/2005 12:46 | This is probably a better thread to post on - a little less "desperate in its content. I did say I'd be getting out by the end of Feb but the link up with Thai Petroleum has changed my mind. I've waited long enough so a few more days/weeks won't make much difference. The Mid States/Thai Petroleum link is | reg5
15/3/2005 12:44 | I've emailed Thai Petroleum to see whether they can shed any light on the link with MST. One can only wait and see ;) Reg | reg5
15/3/2005 10:21 | Well, I thought I was being a bit fanciful by suggesting they might announce that they are going to announce an oil tiddler. Clapham is out but take a look at this website and then click on Mid States: Why should it take you to the Thai Petroleum Industry Group of Companies? You get the same result if you do a search on Mid States PLC. Interesting in the current climate. Under the circumstances maybe I should be apologising to vicotumeric. | reg5
22/2/2005 07:34 | Have you any basis for this statement - only the other day you were asking if anyone had information about how soon any deal might be. Looks to me as if you've punted these and now want to get out. Not very subtle. I've still got my holding but getting a bit bored with it. May be moving on if nothing happens in the next week or so. Maybe I should start a thread saying that they are going to acquire an oil tiddler with a major find rumoured in Clapham ;) | reg5
21/2/2005 08:07 | Will MidStates enter online gaming sector via Acqusition shortly? | vicotumeric
17/2/2005 15:07 | any view on how quick a deal will happen? | vicotumeric |
