01/7/2021 07:28 | Cash generated from operations before working capital changes rose from $461m to $502m. It was a weak comparative but that's a very good improvement. Go backwards and previous first halves were $575m and $672m. So has the corner been turned or is it just a bounce from a Covid depressed figure? I dare say the jury is still out but it seems to match the other positive noises in the report. | aleman
01/7/2021 07:15 | A quality business in full recovery mode generating huge amounts of cash... | rochdae
01/7/2021 07:03 | Not bad at all! | scepticalinvestor
30/6/2021 16:57 | A 61k buy followed by a massive 192k buy today - augurs well. ;-) | drk1
30/6/2021 15:43 | Amazing that we are at the same price as June 20 and Feb 20 when you think of the progress made. I guess the City has a long memory. | purchaseatthetop
30/6/2021 13:30 | Hi all....been down to my core MCRO holding for the last few months waiting for the update. Bought back in this afternoon. Glad to be back. | purchaseatthetop
30/6/2021 11:52 | planit2- Not so much welcome as reborn in a more modest form (lol). But thanks! ;-) Ps. Chart geared for break-out - we just need that positive outlook tomorrow to ignite. | drk1
30/6/2021 11:29 | You can buy over 1 billion of recurring ebitda for a one off fee of 1.8 billion. Within around 6 months mcro will be getting close to its 700 million of fcf and with dividends around 50/60p. Huge cost savings taking place with internal restructuring. Recent contracts with AWS, snowflakes and Microsoft for cloud transition. Accelerated transition to digitalisation due to Covid. mcro's assets and IP far in excess of the value of the company. Turnaround accelerating and yet mcro still half the value of pre-pandemic. I could go on.... Roch | rochdae
30/6/2021 11:02 | And there's the 550p I was looking for ahead of results. Very promising. | aleman
30/6/2021 09:47 | Welcome DrK :) | planit2
29/6/2021 11:06 | up 300k so far plus 12k as a divi... not bad and all tax free on the spreads. The theory is easy .. it's just hard to find the companies. Every so often one comes along. A move over £10 coming if the story continues to improve. | rochdae
29/6/2021 08:05 | Well if it’s that simple Roch I guess you’ve got a billion or so in the bank too. | pl dil
27/6/2021 21:13 | Market is all about cash and rate of cash generation and sustainability of cash generation. So much dross on these boards, so much nonsense posted about charts and debt. I could go on and point to the posters who just appear and disappear who have nothing to say. Either it's a good, cash generative business with a future or it isn't. If it is you buy, if it isn't you sell. That all Mr Buffet does and he's got 100 billion in the bank. Why complicate a simple reality. Anyway, mcro going way higher and very soon imo.... 27/6/2021 20:57 | Clearly a very intelligent analyst. Obv if these guys can convert their legacy to sass then this is worth a lot more | reddevils1
27/6/2021 12:09 | If anybody else wants to play the game remember, to beat the peanut guessing game you must become the peanut guessing game. | rbewes
27/6/2021 09:59 | LowTrader, I was a pilot in the 80's. One of the biggest complaints from passengers other than hijacking was peanut bags being tampered with. The only sensible thing for you to do is hand yourself into the authorities, please wear a mask. You have however done more for airline safety than anybody reading this post, it's because of people like you that they put the handles for aeroplane doors on the outside. I think you will get off it. The authorities will feel sorry for you, whist other people were joining the mile high club you had your hands on your nuts. Good luck. | rbewes
26/6/2021 21:08 | rbewes - check the article again plse - you've misquoted buddy | billbailey1
26/6/2021 14:18 | I'll be happy with £10 | highlands
26/6/2021 12:12 | Don't knock the "how many peanuts in the bag" approach. When I was a frequent flyer in the 80's we amused ourselves by betting how many peanuts were in the airlines snack offerings. I made a small fortune over the years by squeasing the next peanut bag. Happy days! | lowtrader
