13/10/2006 10:53 | well put.. and sensibly worked out. I'll take a note of that. | hectorp
13/10/2006 10:04 | At year end the debt was £44m debt of which £26m was tied up in working capital and structural debt was £18m. This means the ratios are 7.4 times or 5.8 times if you include structural debt only. With solid profit growth and cash flow improvements in the pipeline the ratios look ok to me. However, the cash flow improvements may be slowish to materialise as we have fast growing North American business requiring additional working capital. However, the benefits of having a fast growing North American business should outweigh the downsides of the additional working capital requirement. | scburbs
13/10/2006 09:59 | My screen trading system is showing that I can sell 25,000 but I can only buy 1,000. Something is up....! Keep watching.... p.s.....And they are giving a 1/2p above the sceen sell price. | moneybags
13/10/2006 07:24 | Its toppy compared with last month's level: but is it toppy relative to forward P/E and earnings. - strong candidate to double in 2007? | hectorp
13/10/2006 07:18 | looking overbought to me....look at the debt levels and EV/EBITDA ratios....could be wrong on momentum alone, but looking toppy in my humble opinion | qs9
12/10/2006 22:12 | fadilz absolutely correct. In those days meg were fighting with the likes of mto for rating over 21 and yours truly sold out at 127p when the writing was on the wall. Nice to see I am enjoying a second honeymoon with those letters looking much better on the newly decorated wall. | mistertibbs
12/10/2006 20:07 | I expect is 45-50 over the next week or so - in line with ups of mar05 and jul06. Interims in late nov will confirm whether cash flow and earnings are in line, and if so we should see 50-60 by the next results (p/e 15). In it's days as a growth company (to 2000), Mice traded on a p/e of 25-30 - I would probably bail out before then, but short of that I expect price to progress from 60 at perhaps 15-20% pa, which is quite good enough for me. Lots of upside. Exciting to be in at the right time. F | fadilz
12/10/2006 19:21 | I would not for a moment suggest the current price is not more than justified by fundamentals and prospects. However, the sudden flux of substantial (but non-institutional) buys suggests to me that news or a press/mag tip is imminent - in which case it may be back to sleep in a week or two. | boadicea
12/10/2006 19:01 | Yep, a 74k buy at 41.5p (0.5p above the full offer) should augur well for tomorrow.... | rivaldo
12/10/2006 17:22 | OVER OFFER BUY AFTER BELL gap up tomorrow fingersxxd unless there are other ideas out there | mykai
12/10/2006 15:09 | Hi chef, glad to see you back still waitting for my target price. | paul investor
12/10/2006 14:59 | QALBABBASS - 4 Oct'06 - 09:10 - 1748 of 1767 edit Another 500k at the current price. Are MMs filling someones boots? 5.68m shares needed for an RNS if its a new holding. Just feels like the MMs are taking a break before they push the price up to 45p. Patience. Abbas Also looking at the chart, we have been at these levels three times before since Jan 05 and the price has receeded rapidly (in the first two cases) thereafter. However agreeing with boadicea I think this time we have strong fundamentals, the feel of the chart is much more bullish and institutions have been accumulating. Abbas | qalbabbass
12/10/2006 14:38 | Could be a close thing Ian! If MEG achieve 4p EPS to 28/2/07 in line with expectations, a P/E of 14 on say 5p EPS for next year would put them at 70p - 80% up on this morning's open. SOLA would have to get over 360p just to match that... SOLA looks great. I'm really just making the point that peeps get over-excited sometimes about "exotic" stocks when there's equal value in supposedly less glamorous stocks. And gains in MEG are tax-free in ISAs and PEPs.... | rivaldo
12/10/2006 13:47 | Nah. SOLA will win hands down. | iandippie
12/10/2006 13:39 | I do not claim to have any chartist credentials but would expect still to see significant resistance between here and 42p. If that is surmounted, I then see a first target of 46p by joining and extending the two previous peaks of Aug'05 and March'06 and then further resistance at 50/52p. A pessimist might see we are in line with the falling peaks of March'05 and March'06 and say we could be at the top now. As a holder, I favour the more optimistic view, which is strongly supported by the fundamentals imho. | boadicea
12/10/2006 13:33 | Just bought back in to see if they breakout. Better run now before Norfolk gives me a kicking ;) | chef
12/10/2006 11:59 | I won't hold my breath but lets hope you're right IanDippie | stealth12
12/10/2006 11:10 | Looking at the chart, it looks like 50p is the next port of call.... | iandippie
12/10/2006 11:01 | Deffo a mini-breakout on its way! Looks like 41p next...a keen buyer with 4 25k's and a 58k this morning already. | rivaldo
10/10/2006 13:46 | No probs boadicea. Peculiar RNS today - HSBC seem to have reduced a bit having bought another 3.8m previously? Perhaps the first RNS was wrong, or perhaps the weighting got too much. Whichever, the price is up seemingly on a couple of small-ish buys on PLUS which is encouraging. Could be a mini-breakout on the way. | rivaldo
10/10/2006 12:05 | rivaldo - Yes it's all fine (width that is) now. It was OK when your link was first posted then when very wide. Could have been a temporary advfn effect - not for the first time, as they always seem to be tinkering with their system. | boadicea |
