03/8/2006 10:32 | Some large-ish transactions going through. And PLUS Markets have MEG up 1p at 33p-35p today. | rivaldo
01/8/2006 20:39 | Yep. Time for a concerted move up over 40p maybe for a P/E of around 10? | rivaldo
01/8/2006 19:54 | AXA have picked up another 1.75 million shares since last rns. There is still hope!. | stonecrossman
01/8/2006 10:49 | thanks rivaldo | qalbabbass
01/8/2006 08:29 | Blue.... FYI here's the latest forecast..the current year P/E remains at just 8.2 and the forward P/E is 7.5. Evolution Securities Ltd 07-07-06 BUY 9.80 4.10 1.10 10.80 4.50 1.20 | rivaldo
27/7/2006 16:37 | Some shares moving around. Q | qalbabbass
21/7/2006 23:19 | Sizeable blocks come on the market and are immediately snapped up. I am surprised they do not get matched and go through as an X-trade. The buyer is presumably happy to let the mm do the work of finding a willing seller and give him a turn. The company has done quite well in growing its turnover in recent times but rather less well in controlling its cash, wip, debtors and margins - although the long debtors may be as much to do with its former accounting procedures as genuine slow payers. Anyway, this is now supposed to be changing. Also, with the tight cash postion eased (but still not generous) and positive cash flow in prospect, the banks will no longer have them over a barrel. Getting it right could double the share price within a year or so imho and make the present valuation look like a gift. I expect it will remain quiet (I rather like quiet shares that give one time to accumulate confidence and quantity) until we get some news. The company has not been in the habit of issuing a half-year preclose trading statement, (that would be end Aug/early Sept) so it could be quite a long wait, which actually suits me rather well. | boadicea
21/7/2006 20:43 | Yes these transactions do seem rather interesting. We had a number of large buys but those trades have not manifested in the price. Are the MMs waiting for something? The curent decline in the world markets may be the reason why PI's and subsequently MMs are taking are not buying. Other stocks have had far larger losses than this one so I am happy holding at these levels. Luckily all my shares are in profit save OMH and WNDR. With Bernankes statement regarding a halt in US interest rate increments this looks good for the future. World stock markets observed immediate upside to his comments. From now I think we should see a steady increase in the markets. This increase will have further ammunition when the Lebanon/Israel thing cools off. I think this matter will be resolved within the next few weeks. From a chartists perspective the current price seems to be the bottom. Abbas | qalbabbass
21/7/2006 19:42 | Now, there's a surprise - a 750k T-trade published at the close! | boadicea
21/7/2006 16:14 | Seeing as a mm has just paid 31.3p for a 700k sell (nominal spread 31-32) and the price does not flicker, we can safely assume he knows someone that wants them imho. | boadicea
14/7/2006 11:47 | Gentle institutional accretion seems to be continuing by the attrition of pi holdings. Late posted trades from 12th, appearing on 13th advfn listing are almost certainly buys imo. More large mid-price trades also later on 13th. Not enough to push the price up - why should they, when all they have to do is be patient? | boadicea
12/7/2006 21:05 | sorry if it felt like i was having a go at you carver i was not.all info is welcome | amu240
12/7/2006 19:35 | carver - Thanks. Anything which may explain a share price movement is potentially useful. In this case I would note to expect some selling and perhaps a tick down and ignore it ... or maybe use it as a top-up opportunity as I think this one has some way to go for the patient. | boadicea
12/7/2006 18:39 | I don't personally - but thought it might be of interest on a DISCUSSION board which hadn't seen any posts for 5 days. Next time i'll keep it to myself. | carver66
12/7/2006 17:49 | Here here. Very true amu240. | stealth12
12/7/2006 17:46 | if you are long term and you believe in the company then who cares | amu240
12/7/2006 15:31 | I see Robbie Burns has bottled it and sold out yesterday - a few lemming followers selling today - but no drop in share price ........yet. | carver66
07/7/2006 09:50 | RTD up again, so I have added another £250pp MEG. Must be careful not to reinvest too much of my unrealised profits, but does look like MEG might be just starting to generate some upwards momentum. | scburbs
07/7/2006 08:57 | Good to see interest picking up. There's now been 5 share purchases by directors since mid-March, including some at 35.75p, so current buyers are paying far less than even the directors paid. 60p would represent a current year P/E of only 13.3 for 2007/8 at the 4.5p EPS estimate, although I can see the EPS forecasts being upgraded if the current turnaround continues as the level of PBT growth required isn't exactly forecast-busting. But 60p seems realistic to me, and you can't say no to 80% in a year :o)) | rivaldo
07/7/2006 08:06 | Good morning - joined you this morning - 2 x 10000 buys, neither are showing yet. Looking to hold for 12 months and expect 60p in that time frame. Stop loss at 29p. PS: i also hold RTD! | carver66
06/7/2006 21:43 | oh well i am in anyway fri lol | amu240
06/7/2006 21:34 | Yes, it was paid last Monday! Edit; To have qualified for this final divi you would have had to be holding shares on June 6th, as the went exd on the 7th. | besbury
06/7/2006 21:33 | if i buy tomorrow do i miss the dividend???????????? | amu240
06/7/2006 20:57 | No doubt you are right rivaldo. It is just that I like to deal in tidy round numbers, which makes for easier mental arithmatic;~) We just need to be patient and collect the dividends for the time being. (Nice one this week) | besbury |
