02/9/2007 20:28 | i hope so too - anyone want to guess - it might be a no brainer to buy a shed load if it's more than 3p... | moreforus
23/8/2007 15:46 | OMG - I hope if an offer is made it'll be good. I would hate it if after many years of waiting that this company gets snapped up for peanuts. | moogee
17/8/2007 10:27 | Bought another 25k@2.8p This should be the floor IMO, | go_baby_go
17/8/2007 07:21 | it's good news (do i dare want to ssy such a thing given the armageddon happening in the markets....) - uncertainty about ownership gone..as funding for parent who still own the aame number of metrodome shares with no dilution for metrodome - loonland (..certain irony in that name) may have dilution of their OWN shares but this is IN LOONLAND NOT METRODOME..... | moreforus
16/8/2007 09:44 | Which, as I read it, means MRMs parent company is now financially secure, so doesn't have to 'give away' it's share of MRM at a knock down price...... Well, it's not negative news, at least!!! | littlebert
16/8/2007 09:11 | RNS Number:2155C Metrodome Group PLC 16 August 2007 16 August 2007 Metrodome Group plc ("Metrodome") TV-Loonland Reaches Agreement in Restructuring Talks Metrodome announces that its majority shareholder, TV-Loonland AG ('TVL'), has now reached and signed an agreement with its bankers in respect of the restructuring of TVL's debt. 02/8/2007 12:18 | MBO all depends on how rich the Management team are. That could screw things a bit. If Loonland did find a seller then how much they are willing to pay will indeed greatly depend on the results. I don't know. A lot depends on the results. | moogee
02/8/2007 10:05 | MRM are likely to go back into profit in September which should make them an appealing buy.Loonland own 61% of their shares so anybody buying 61% is going to want to takeover MRM and are likely to want another 30%.This could raise the share price significantly if the shares are bought in the open market.A more likely scenario is a takeover bid for the whole of MRM not just a purchase of 61%.Is an MBO a possibility? I dont know, any thoughts on that? | figure6
02/8/2007 09:23 | how many holders would sell this share for 3- 3.5p per share? This what i think we would be offered - so there wont be many private holders smiling | itmak
01/8/2007 14:21 | Puffet,if they dont receive an offer for their shares in mrm then nothing happens.Their reasons for wanting to sell (and selling 11% already) merely explains why the share price is so low so near MRM going back into profit.40% of MRM arent owned by loonland so maybe any buyer of loonlands 60% will have to buy another 30% in the open market or make us a very good offer for the shares.(This could be very good news) | figure6
01/8/2007 14:01 | Maybe Loonland selling up its holding en masse will help the share price as its selling of 11% over the last year has depressed the share price down to this low level.Metrodome should be ebitda positive in the September results so interest should bolster the share price (if loonland are out of the way)."Potential offer" could this mean we get an offer for our shares at a premium? | figure6
01/8/2007 13:57 | Worrying..........Ar What happens if they don't find a buyer for their share of MRM? | puffet
01/8/2007 13:20 | yeeks - just seen the latest RNS posting - puts a cloud over MRM until this is resolved one way or another LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Metrodome Group, a film distribution company, said a stake sale by its major shareholder TV-Loonland AG is "no certainty", even though the sale could be on the cards as Loonland is "urgently" pursuing restructuring options following banking problems. Metrodome said in a statement that, as talks have not taken place, there was therefore "no certainty that any offer will ultimately be made for the company". Loonland said it was urgently pursuing various restructuring options, as a result of ongoing discussions with bankers and auditors "in respect of certain breaches of covenant in its banking arrangements", according to Metrodome. | itmak
27/7/2007 09:12 | figure6 Hopefully. The last broker done eff all. | ursamajorra
27/7/2007 07:20 | Can we assume that the new broker will contact his clients with a buy rec,if so anyone wanting in better be quick about it. | figure6
27/7/2007 07:08 | News of change of adviser and broker "pleased to inform".Why the change? How is this pleasing? Are they about to go profitable and want a new broker and adviser for better exploitation of their new position? | figure6
25/7/2007 13:27 | I suggest you buy before the results in September as MRM has a habit of rising on a pre-results rally.Once MRM starts moving it can move massive % fast. | figure6
25/7/2007 12:58 | Personally I am still waiting before buying - I would rather wait for guidance from the results than speculate - granted I may miss an opportunity for a quick profit but upside (as downside) for MRM is enormous | itmak
24/7/2007 08:13 | Pity about the 2 hour time delay in mms reporting trades as we wont see if theres any more buying untill post 10 am.Moreforus are you not talking to me? gb. | figure6
23/7/2007 18:21 | Yep,thats what I hope we will see (it has happened here before in very very similar circumstances). | figure6
23/7/2007 18:19 | If we're in profit in september this may we'll be 5-6p before the results. | go_baby_go
23/7/2007 18:15 | evening moreforus.I was expecting a rally just before/and after the results in September as MRM are supposed to return to profitability this year. The buying started earlier than I expected so I didnt dare wait.I hope we get a good rally then but a slow steady climb would be ok aswell.gb. | figure6
23/7/2007 18:11 | another 100k plus bought - if it contiunes tomorrow then should see a smidge if blue... i'd rather see a stready sustained recovery than a short term surge which will encourage sellers and not buyers... | moreforus |
