21/4/2006 08:59 | This is a very tightly held share and it wont take much buying to get it moving far fast. | gb679
21/4/2006 08:52 | Moreforus, I initially bought £1,500 last month at 3.12p so topping up prior to the (hopefully)improved results. Yes I have DMOR. Anyway has my buy done anything to the on line limits? Thanks | puffet
21/4/2006 08:38 | puffet good luck! you DYOR right??? I don't want to be accused of being GBs mate from a certain other board who seems to have completely disappeared since it announced it was going to be a cash shell..... fingers crossed for next week...still can't tell whether the results are on Monday! | moreforus

20/4/2006 10:28 | remember for most of the year we were tradinmg with a value of 2.25p not 3p so break up value is higher than the average price for the last year..... if the results are not what we expect then MRM have appointed a mr fix it to turn around the compnay - the company remember has swung from losing 3 to 4 million pounds a year to reporting a small profit in 2004 and hopefully 2005 so we already have seen a dramatic improvement in fortunes - let's hope that continues and the appointment is to build on the success of the last 2 years... | moreforus
20/4/2006 10:16 | NAV is 2.25 million so breakup value = just pver 3p a share....now GB this is not like other companies we could mention - this is a going concern with a real business - if there is a new chairman (not CEO) he will be the figurehead for the company rather than running it's day to day affairs - this means the old chairman resigned, was fired and would suggest that her performance was not what the company needed.... | moreforus
20/4/2006 10:05 | "Mr Flamank was a non executive director and which went into voluntary liquidation six months after his departure" lets hope he doesnt leave too soon :) | itmak

20/4/2006 09:57 | During the last eighteen months he has worked on various turnaround assignments in the UK within the entertainment industry and was recently appointed as CEO of TV Loonland PLC. Loonland (sorry chaps can;t really take any stock with a name like that too seriously!!).. own 81% of Metrodome...good news I'd say certainly a step in the right direction!!! New chairman - turnaround specialist ....hmmmmm things looking better for the future I'd say! | moreforus
20/4/2006 09:37 | Good to see them hiring staff not firing them (as MDY did!) as it shows they can afford it.This fits in with the transition from loss to profit that we are all expecting next week. When the results are out MRM will fly as it is a tightly held share and we have seen what the mms do on even a small amount of buying.Good luck to all holders....8p soon! | gb679
20/4/2006 09:30 | Been on lse and found this: 20 April 2006 Metrodome plc Appointment of new Chairman Metrodome PLC (AIM: MRM), the audiovisual entertainment company which is majority owned by TV-Loonland plc (AIM: TVL), announces the appointment of Simon Flamank as non-executive director and chairman with immediate effect. Simon Alexander Flamank, aged 48, joins Metrodome plc, having worked for the last 20 years in the entertainment industry. Previously Mr. Flamank has been CEO of Prism Leisure Corporation plc, CFO of The Telstar Entertainment Group plc and a Vice President of CIC Video International BV. During the last eighteen months he has worked on various turnaround assignments in the UK within the entertainment industry and was recently appointed as CEO of TV Loonland PLC. Mr Flamank is not currently a director of any other company and was a director in the following companies within the last five years: Prism Leisure Corporation plc and all of its subsidiaries Prime Marketing Publications Limited where Mr Flamank was a non executive director and which went into voluntary liquidation six months after his departure. Does anyone have any views on how good Mr Flamank is and how this will effect Metrodome? | leeh2
19/4/2006 17:27 | again referring to the Half 1 2005 statement they are trying to shift to get long term value out of their investments .. although the business can be one of boom and bust i.e. Donnie Darko , Monster = massive revenue .. although there are some turkeys out there too!!! I think what they are trying to do is build a business that can sustain itself and be profitable without relying on regular unpredictable big hits....remember the 3 streams of revenue are DVDs, tv sales and the smallest is cinema....if they can get product that has a very long shelf life then this will prove a very good long term investment!! imho dyor... | moreforus
19/4/2006 17:05 | If your figures are close this will fly, but can they deliver the goods on a regular basis! | piratepete612
19/4/2006 16:53 | you can't stop people selling .. .25p inside the bid for a 100k isn't a bad price .. i would've expected a larger drop for such a large sell... again DYOR - read the last results for H1 very carefully... H2 based on my analysis of theatre takings should be cinema 150-250k tv 280k (240k July 2005 sales) dvd 1.250 million net cash inflow 500-750k profit 400k?? all guesses based on as many facts as i can find....but h2 stronger for dvd sales due to Xmas - | moreforus
19/4/2006 16:38 | 100000 sell as a T trade.. | piratepete612
19/4/2006 14:15 | agree moreforus, results will be good and mrm will rally.....a week on friday isnt long to wait. | gb679
19/4/2006 13:02 | this is all very silly - look at the fundamentals - look at the public face - look at what's happening to the company and then put brain in gear..... the results are next Friday - they will be better than half 1.... Group Operating Results Metrodome had always planned to make a loss in the first half of the year as it released six films theatrically at an average 10% margin. The profit was always forecast to come in the second half when the titles could be sold to television and the DVD releases both rental and sell-through would be available. #240k of television sales were made but contracts were not signed until July hence they will show in second half numbers. | moreforus
19/4/2006 11:50 | Lets hope we don't get shafted the same way come results. Has anybody got the lottery numbers for tonight, that might help. | griff01 |
