18/5/2006 08:24 | bizzare as it sounds this is probably a good place to be during these volatile times - MRM doesnt do oil, it sells to a domestic market and is pretty much immune to US interest rate policy...in fact a stronger pound = cheaper cost of purchase of imported indie movies for UK resale and distribution.... might be time to buy more!! | moreforus
12/5/2006 12:51 | i have added a link to loonland website | itmak
12/5/2006 07:11 | Next news will be Loonland Q1 2006 report on the 26th May, however MRM rarely publishes RNS, need to keep an eye on their website on loonlands website etc, 2006 will be a much better year for Metrodome as 2005 was continuslly compared to the mega 2004...they want to grow the business now and they have all the resource in place to do it so we should now start to see a genuine growth story. | moreforus
12/5/2006 06:55 | yep I have a few but I have decided to just hold here long term.On good news MRM can move far fast, so its time to wait for good news.(Might get a bit boring but eventually we will get a big % increase which will make the wait worthwhile) | gb679

05/5/2006 07:21 | Development of Metrodome The Metrodome strategy in the home entertainment market has shown that marketing titles with past popularity can lead to sales success. Titles from the TV-Loonland library, such as the Transformers and My Little Pony, have been distributed successfully. Metrodome earned sales revenues of TEUR 5,874 (prior year: TEUR: 8,367). The 29.8% decline resulted mainly from the fact that Metrodome had no hit film to exploit in 2005. In the prior year, Metrodome very successfully sold Donnie Darko in the home entertainment market and Monster in the theatrical market, thereby earning a profit of TEUR 360. In 2005, Metrodome posted a loss of TEUR 142 since there was no such title to exploit. Metrodome is now a well-functioning enterprise with growth potential in store. The structures created in the past are capable of higher film throughput whether measured in number or in budget volume, without altering cost structure. | moreforus
04/5/2006 10:14 | i noticed it was a joint MRM/Loonland announcement...i might shoot a mail to the new chairman asking him to link all future announcements so MRM get's newsflow - there is a risk of course if loonland has bad news and it has nothing to do with or impact on MRM... that said yes very good and we shall see 6-7p again and beyond !!! | moreforus

03/5/2006 10:35 | Straight to TV DVD looks like the most profitable. Films at the flics always low margin at break even / 10%. I would consider these films to be more of advertising for DVD releases. As for TV, with all the channels on digital tv they must fill them somehow. Dust off those long forgotten films and get them earning again! | moogee
03/5/2006 10:18 | new media opportunities and looking to GROW the business i.e not just same old same old.... | moreforus
03/5/2006 09:45 | We are excited by the prospects of some of the films we have acquired and have been or are due for release in 2006. Manderlay was released in March and the highly acclaimed Shooting Dogs was released earlier this month. Eight further releases are planned for 2006. acquired Tell Them Who You Are , the cast looks great ? Looking at the web site only 3 films currently being displayed this summer. Would like to see more. | daz1966
03/5/2006 09:29 | Cashflow will always look poor at first glance since any cash they make should be immediately ploughed back to build up their library. I would like to see this company inform it's shareholders better but with little to talk about you can see why. The big question is can they use what assets they have already to generate as much cash as possible to spend on more material for future growth that will justify their increase in costs? We shall see. | moogee |
