If these safety deposit boxes are so wonderful, Metro shareholders should put their share certificates inside them and see if they can grow back again, or at least preserve the remaining value. Perhaps if a recording of the infamous conference call could be played repeatedly over the speakers in the vicinity would would assist too - they do say that flowers can react to music and voices, and paper is somewhat organic. So is the ink.

sorry but I have no idea on fundamentals of this stock apart from reading latest
announcements . I just trust the charts and chart for this stock suggests getting out

If you do your homework the warning signs started over a year ago

Deposit Box charges have gone up over 100% in the last 2 years

This said the bank needed cash badly and was prepared to risk taking it from those few thousands of people that had them.

The amount of cash raised was/is peanuts ... in the scheme of bank things and monies needed ... but the message was loud and clear.

Bit like a company stopping putting out free chocolate biscuits at coffee breaks or changing them to cheaper plain ones.

Metro makes a lot of money from safe deposit boxes, if you short Metro now, you will lose your shirt. A clean audit will send this back over £20. M-u-g-s the whole lot of you.
