A good method for twonks to use in this scenario is positive and negative volume indexes

Look how the idiot money is converging and smart is diverging

Idiot money means example. .pikey & Marge money..well used to mean that. They have none left

So given that the likes of chaiken money flow, acc/dis and volume levels have all suckered the gerbil interpreters ..

I'm just wondering what day it will be I get to enjoy watching all your pain...

Been looking at a few forums to see general view about reults day

Many looking at volume traded (no surprise any result day) , and accumulation. And yes it's correct. High accumulation day next day.

But as ever I never see the question asked, who accumulated?

Obviously not funds. They decide before result days normally. Sometimes you get shock results that they must even respond to..but no shocks on metro day

So it's all retail. Pretty much confirmed with sell pressure that friday, as soon as buying dried up

I'm afraid what is often a bullish signal in the right circumstance, is also a bearish call.

As far as volume, acc/dis and B/S pressure goes.all bear

Is enough in it for a fast spike, maybe, 228. Won't last long though

Time is the hardest thing to assess but be it a day or 2 weeks..155 coming

I've held some stocks up to 3 years..and none of those were ever an investment buy initially.

Phil your one of very few here that realises the analysis of today must be monitored for the change of tomorrow

Most buy in and stick to that analysis regardless.

It's why I said to amm. Treat every position as a trade until 10% safely secured or at least breakeven.

Then he can change to investment mode if 10% isn't maxing out, and look for time to bail on a slower scale if wishes.

Makes sense when you say wait results. No clear indication of positioning weighted one side heavy, prior

Btw. SR agree with all your (recent) technical analysis here on likely price action.. bulls won’t listen through, us brits love backing an underdog like metro.. even when it’s bitten us many, many time.

My last post on SXX
Friday saw a 8million plus trade at 4p.

PLEASE amaretto.. don’t be sucked into that dead dog.. its low for a very valid reason and will just continue its slide into bankruptcy.. literally throwing hard earned money into a hole in the ground.. government should have helped but didn’t.

My tip is watch SHOPIFY (Shop) results on Monday, will make the piddly pips available here laughable.

Pikey the peter file is rees4 aswell though, just one of many usernames he uses, as he has nothing else to do all day whilst he is begging outside McDonalds stealing their wifi

Peter file just wants to argue with anyone....even himself. A waste of a life

sudnalPosts: 108Price: 208.60BuyRecovery PlayToday 11:50This stock is a recovery play and my analysis is that the worst may be behind us. Few things should happen for this to rise further in my view.Change of management - announcement of a new chairman (someone very strong)Control on operational expenditure and costs - Deposits to loan ratio should be less than 100%MREL - If this is drastically reduced for challenger banks and smaller banks it will helpCustomer growthNo more equity raises - which was confirmed in the Q3 update call - atleast for the short termClosure of PRA - with minimal or reduced finesNew IIs buyingShorts closureSelling of some loan bookSome (or) all of the above actions would have a positive impact on the share price in my view. Listening to the replay of the conference call - looks like all of the above items are under consideration by the management and it was pleasing to note that Craig Donaldson mentioning that they wanted to maximise the return to shareholders by using existing equity and measures in their control than raising fresh equity.

Takeover seems to be the recent low flavour of the period

Where is the sanity in anyone taking it over or going private?

Forget takeover. It's of zero value to others. They are offloading this very model.

As for going private. .bet the fca nd co wouldn't allow it pre conclusion..be just a way to dodge the flack. It's been dodgy publicly listed to say the least lol.
