I thought he could buy shares tomorrow at the current share price but when or if he was to take it private then investers shares would be brought at the highest price the shares have been during the last 12 months.

Getting shot of the Chairman prior to the release of the results is a bit worrying for me?

Does this mean they can say, the results are BAD we know, but we now have the management in place to start rebuilding.

He was supposed to be in place until Christmas until a permanent new leader was found, this is a bit too quick for my liking.

We will see I guess

Do the results come out after trade today??? could be a few squeaky bums overnight lol either way

wonder if VH is planning picking up a sizeable chunk as period close ends today...this must surely open the path to a takeover/private buyout imo. Vh paid a huge premium to the current sp, looking back...

If hes planning on a buy out he will want bad results to be released, a lower share price so he and his mates can pick up as many shares as possible at the cheapest price.

Mr Market needs no convincing...

This is a positive step forward for Vernon Hill.

Exit the stage.

Get a separate Investment Vehicle to hoover up loose stock.

Build the position while share price is on its knees.

Take it back and away from City Haters.

Etc.

More to it than simply retaining any title!
