"Friday 4 June 2021 11:02 am Metro Bank bolsters UK call centre operations with new Bristol branch Millie Turner A bout of new employees will be joining the call"
pretty decent news considering a small part of the ongoing transformation - bit like the mtro share price - going to see some share price transofrmations n&s - the new threat of a third wave is a slight worry yet again though and not just for metro obviously - not just with the variants we already have but more coming in from holidaymakers both to and from uk - wonder who designed that covid bug to keep mutating like this if in fact they did - naughty!
also not forgetting apart from the obvious companies that will be badly affected by the new g7 digital tax but will in fact work in metro favour - hope peeps got their positioning right on the obvious companies and be very alert to reposition when they hit back with law suits and other tax dodges (obviously i mean tax efficiencies as steered by the same big consultancies that are also advising the g7 countries through this mare - coi or what!?) to counter the g7 moves - smell the dirty disgusting filthy money so easy

Metro Bank bolsters UK call centre operations with new Bristol branch
Millie Turner

A bout of new employees will be joining the call centre in July, while more people are to be recruited as the country continues to open up, the bank said.
Metro Bank has launched a new customer call centre above its Bristol store this week, another bank bolstering its call centre operations in the UK.

Delayed slightly due to Covid-19, the opening of the new centre, called AMAZE Direct, has created over 100 jobs.

The challenger bank’s shares lifted 2.2 per cent this morning, taking its share price to 111.4p per share.

A bout of new employees will be joining the call centre in July, while more people are to be recruited as the country continues to open up, the bank said.

“Our new colleagues are passionate and knowledgeable and I know they will make a real difference in our customers’ experience.”

It comes as Barclays shifted some of its call centre operations to the UK from India in April.
