When metro as requests from thousands of its zombie SMEs asking for £50k Plus to get them through the next 6weeks what are they going to do?
Remember they’ll have no cash flows, no understanding of when cash will start rolling in again, just finger in the sky time. I’d hate to be in credit at this time. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Plus uncertainty that you’ll ever get the money back unless all of it is government guaranteed.

You’re a plank nemesis. If you don’t understand banking don’t get involved in it.

Let's see how Metro fairs in a recession. Which will last at least 2 quarters of contraction. Chuck the debt time bomb in for good measure. And that equals?

Kathy. I like your posts. You have made some decent money. What a lot of people haven't computed yet is that the case count is garbage. Currently, on stats, it's 1-85k chance of having it. Let's do straw poll of ministers, globally, that's averaging 1 in 300-1000. Let's do footballers in too leagues, England, Spain, Italy. That's showing infection rates at, surprise surprise, 300-1000 per player. Let's do film stars. You get the story. It's says that for about every case reported about 130 more people have this. So about 100k people. It's same story around globe. That means two things. Mortality rate is similar to bad flu season. Most important this thing is further advanced than people appreciate, so will end sooner and more suddenly. We won't peak at anywhere near official numbers people suggest

The psychology is amazing. Celebrating the clawback of 70% of the previous day's monster plummet. Ignoring the major uturn by government. Next week no doubt we see a uturn on schools. USA has shut all schools. Europe now epicentre. Recession predicted. And still only at sub 150,000 cases. Now all the poorer nations have reported first cases. And what's to suggest China doesn't get re-infected when they open their doors again?

I don’t believe you need to spell it out to them Kathy as deep inside they know the truth.

The embarrassment here also sits with the U.K. government who are doing everything they can to support the markets, would suggest out of their own individual greed rather than undertaking actual supportive help. Farcical to now quote they’re looking at cancelling main social gatherings because of impact on emergency services, not the fact that many have already been cancelled to stop the spread by the main bodies of control.

Damning to think that their strategy contradicts every other Countries advice, a strategy that involves 60% of the U.K. being forced to contract coronavirus, no matter how seriously ill some will become or number of deaths that will occur as a result.

As many become wise, pressure will be exerted and the opposition parties will fall behind. It’s a matter of time before they’ll climb down as their paid scientists are proven wrong and schools and businesses are voluntary closed.

Remember the government are using every control mechanism they can and would suggest that we are far away from the truth, especially when considering every decision is reviewed inline with group behavioural responses.

There is presently no transparency of coronavirus suffers in the U.K. given we are running so far behind in testing and data moving forward will be only undertaken on the seriously ill.

Disregard for the British people has been seen time and time again over the last few weeks, also damning that following the CObr meeting yesterday the first one to respond was the Scottish Government and much later our own fell well short of any leadership or direction.

The U.K. market will crumble as the impact on the NHS and shortage of equipment is realised, and decisions are made on who deserves to live and who doesn’t.

Frightening when you hear of the numbers in Italy that are seriously ill and the concentration requiring ventilators to survive. Emergency equipment in which the NHS have advised they fall significantly short.

So you don’t need to explain to anyone on hear as if they don’t already know they’ll soon realise on their own.

we can expect more downsides as the coronavirus crisis is far from over.
Will grow to 1m cases within weeks and every country in the world affected. Today airlines asking for bake outs. Travelex just breached bond covenants, now facing the end. Everyone I know is suffering in their businesses. No one will travel this year. There is a psychology shift caused by this virus. And not to mention slowdown was happening even before this.
Enjoy the bounce. It’s the biggest dead cat yet! As usual, all gerbils cheering. But here are the maths gerbils!!!! The Dow rose 1679 points (it dropped 306 straight after close). The day before is lost 2,350 points. It took mega stimulus injection to deliver 71 recovery of yesterdays losses.
There is no good news coming this weekend.
I expect another 600-800 point drop by the time Dow futures is finished. Then we resume with the next leg down. You heard it here first. Enjoy your moment!
