Yep it closes on the 13th November and got the impression the closing date has been brought forward but could very well be wrong. Someone more knowledgeable than me could no doubt confirm that.

on the monitor just type in MERL in the add shares it will come up

Morning all,

You can add Merlin to the Monitor by typing MERL into the box at the top left and hitting Enter on your keyboard or clicking "Add".

It doesn't look like it's appearing in the AutoSuggest drop down yet, but we'll have it added there very soon.

Merlin Entertainments prices shares at 315p

Merlin Entertainments (LON:MERL) is to float on the stock exchange this morning at 315p a share, valuing the Legoland and Madame Tussauds group at £3.2bn.
This is towards the upper end of its price range of 280p to 330p.

We sold our holding at £3.50 today. The one that really grabs our attention is
Infinis and is offering a yield of up to 7%.

The main shareholders are locked in for a minimum of 180 days. That's the timescale before the venture capitalists can bail.

Although Kikbi (Lego) have indicated that they will want to keep hold of their 29.9% long term. I expect that Blackstone (22.6%) & CVC (13.1%) will start to offload at this point, especially if teh price is higher than the £3.15.
