All three Court of Appeal judges ruled on Friday 3 November that the license agreement continues and that the damages claim against Marchpole Holdings plc should be dismissed. Furthermore, Bespoke Couture Limited/Ozwald Boateng was refused permission to appeal to the House of Lords and Marchpole Holdings plc has had costs awarded in its favour. Michael Morris, Executive Deputy Chairman of Marchpole, commented: "We are very pleased that these legal proceedings have now been resolved." -ends- For further information, please contact: Emma Kent / Alexandra Walton Bell Pottinger Corporate & Financial 020 7861 3232 John Harrison, Finance Director Marchpole 020 7908 7777 Note to Editors : * Marchpole Holdings plc ("Marchpole") is an international brand management group that designs, produces and sells clothing and accessories for eight globally recognised fashion labels. It operates in all of the world's main markets - UK, mainland Europe, Asia and the USA * Its respected brands include YSL, Boateng, Emmanuel Ungaro, Ungaro, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac ("JCC"), Jean-Charles de Castelbajac / Rossignol, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac/Okaidi and Homebody * Marchpole is renowned for its integrated approach to brand management, taking a brand from concept to design studio to the customer interface. It is not a clothing manufacturer * The Group has grown considerably in the past 3 years, from a licensee with one core license (YSL menswear) - to today's international business that manages its brands across a multitude of clothing lines and accessories * Marchpole's recent acquisition (March 2006) of Moda America - the US licensee for leading designer Emanuel Ungaro - brings further growth opportunities in the UK and America and strengthens the company's relationship with Ungaro * The acquisition also allows the company to launch the Ungaro brand, already established by Marchpole in Europe and Asia, into the US, Canada and South America. The acquisition also allows the company to re-launch JCC into America with effect from autumn/winter 2006 * Marchpole will launch the diffusion Ungaro Homme collection in the UK from Spring/Summer 2007 | gashy

03/11/2006 21:02 | Hi Tuftymatt, did have a look at SL. however felt they were all the money for now.My alternative JKX will take off at sometime.Fan of VLK, TFC and casting eye over ITH as can see growth potential "traffic related" stocks.Oilies and metals sector continues strong to meet demand.MPH will at least see final conclusion to ill fated OB debacle the blame for which can be laid at the feet of departed directors.More added to list of collecting their P45's! | lex1000
03/11/2006 17:07 | Hi lex, 282.5 to sell was a bit of a surprise after yesterdays rise and the takeover rumour to start the week. Have a sell oreder in place at 279 should it come off anymore which off the top of my head = about 25% in 4 months so cant moan at that. Could have got 290 the other week but such is life and am happy to hold if the share price does. | tuftymatt
03/11/2006 15:44 | Whilst we wait for final outcome of OB case pop o/t TFC on your monitors.Up 63.75p-64.5p.VLK another.i'm sure MM must be saving up plenty of good news for investors and plans hike in dividends. | lex1000
