Not sure if it doesn't primarily represent private holdings in barclays nominee accounts rather than specific investment fund action by Barclays. Probably a mix of both.

Charting
The chart is signaling the next target ( short term), to be 35p and then 39p, naturally there are going to be ups and downs in the meantime.

On going over 30p would clearly change the trend from downtrend to UPTREND and then be very positive, but all will depend on the time span of going over those figures.

Indeed.

However, I really felt Master RSI could not be left uncountered. As shown above he has hijacked this thread. If my actions have resulted in people thinking there is no point coming here, I would rather have that than have him trading unopposed on the previous good reputation of the thread.

He has always had the option to start his own thread, so you can work out his motivations in choosing to hijack this one rather than following that option. He strives for the oxygen of attention, so taking over an established thread gives him what he wants. If I have in some small way denied him this attention then good.

Anyway, I have now filtered him and will not be responding any further.

"Momentos" 2 weeks ago was sayings were not worth 13p and share to fall further, yesterday after seing the rise ( I predicted ) is saying ...I dont know... but Probably about 20p to 30p ( or yes the price now ) very clever, or a bit of a fool.

I have no time to say my thoughts now, but I will try to evaluate that in the near future.

Just let me tell you the shares are worth much more than the present, and the last two weeks rise should continue on the near future.

Last Friday trades - Market Makers took advantage of a few sells earlier on the day to mark down the shares and a bit more later on, but the sums (LSE and Plus market) say only 10K to the sellers and 1.5p drop was a bit too much, yes 71K sells for 61K buys, but the market in general was well down maybe that was the excuse.

I would not mind if I was that age group, but not with "miss meddling" but I have over 25 years of share dealing, and the last 10 years of almost daily dealing, so I think its a bit too late for that.

A record this week ( 33 posters selection ) So in order to allow more selections "Jimi" had to delete the CHART on the top thread and do a special Run of the system late on Thurday, and the visitors started from 0 again, and that has been happening for most the last year (ADVFN new system), so the visitors number are not representative of the final number. just to let you know that there is around 10 visitors to 1 poster for the first 3/4 days and then goes down to 7 for the rest of the week ( yes it only last one week, and a new one. The normal counter is for 289 post 2500 visitors.

When I was doing the thread by myself I did much better on post, back on FEB 2004 the weekly thread managed 603 post and 6783 visitors, a 11.24 visitor post
but February 06 was record visitors with 486 post for 6728 visitors a record 14 visitors for post.

Marchpole will return a loss for 2007/8.

I believe they will struggle to return a profit for 2008/9 as the move to loss has been caused not by structural inefficiencies in the company but by market conditions. OK these may have been self generated to a degree, but they cannot be cured overnight.

As such what represents a fair value for this share? I dont know. I would expect negative EPS 2007/8 (perhaps up to 5p), flat 2008/9 then perhaps +5p 2009/10. And if the model is right then the company builds forward from that base. But thats 3 years from now.

If I was buying the company today on that basis I certainly wouldnt want to be paying a huge amount more than 5m.

So what is fair value? IMO 10p is probably too low. 50p may be starting to look way too high. Probably about 20p to 30p all in, depending on general retail market conditions.
