05/7/2006 13:10 | Any reason for that statement? | ains4
05/7/2006 11:51 | Trend could be reversing now... | bigdunc
03/7/2006 12:02 | Reckon on bottom could be around 0.4p which is what its NAV should be! | jdurrant
03/7/2006 12:01 | MD Precisely! | jdurrant
02/7/2006 16:01 | JD "Aborted acquisition" suggests to me that that is also an expensive business NOT buying these Goodwill firms!!!! | mickey dredd
30/6/2006 15:04 | Here comes 1p and below!!! | legallf
30/6/2006 14:55 | " Full year results will also reflect non-recurring costs totaling 450,000 stg. relating to an aborted acquisition and its restructuring programme." Expensive business buying these goodwill firms! I wonder how much of that 450 ended up in the directors fees. It has all gone quiet on this board, where have all the rampers gone? | jdurrant
29/6/2006 14:50 | A whole load of nothing. This company is valued purely on goodwill, which is such a contradiction in terms. And the worst of it is he is going to buy more "goodwill" by buying more service companies that will have non existent contracts, that eventually fail, but we will retain the intangible assets in order to con more investors that there is potential in this company. | jdurrant
29/6/2006 12:27 | Very disappointing, but explains the recent slips in the share price... | bigdunc
29/6/2006 10:47 | Interims have been posted! | mickey dredd
28/6/2006 18:02 | Glad to see some of the ramping seems to have ended, hard to justify with charts like these. | jdurrant
22/6/2006 08:19 | Got shares as a friend said at the time they were a good thing, did my homework after this only to find the company or SD did not have a pot to p..s in? | ains4
21/6/2006 17:41 | Ains4 Did you hold before you met Mr Dean, cant imagine you buying after meeting him! :o) | mickey dredd
21/6/2006 16:06 | I am still holding and hoping that a turn is on the cards, i met SD on a very iffy deal 3 years ago when he offered cash to buy a company i am a director in only to change his offer to shares in Cater barnard as payment, we walked away from the deal. The offer changed only hours before signing. | ains4
21/6/2006 15:29 | No worries JD I have no problem with giving people advice so long as it is factual and like you, I'm sure, I dont base my investments on what I read on these threads. I simply dont listen to rumours and i know that you still believe that there is some tie in with Dean - I however do not believe this to be the case, just IMHO of course! I note below the "school chums" theory is not a new thought in your mind :o) "JDurrant - 19 Feb'04 - 18:31 - 12 of 333 Bladeboy. On a more serious note does anyone have any background info on the new board? I can't believe that just because SD has gone you think everything is going to be rosy again. SD was well known for recruiting his old school chums in on his lucrative scams. BE VERY AWARE, we are not out of the wooods yet, far from it. As rockbottomone rightly said this company is not worth anything, and any price movement will be based on good will, two words that no one in their right mind would associate with CRB. " I have held these for some time now and am down approx 40%, so not as much as many others, but I dont see the point in jumping ship now - I intend to hang on a little longer, you just never know! Holding with humour, like your good self! Regards MD | mickey dredd
21/6/2006 15:07 | Mickey, I know you have been holding long term, and you are smarting from this abismal companies performance. I however feel that any new potential investors should be made aware of this companies crooked history. I have been posting and warning people on here ever since Dean started his pillaging, becuase with crooked AIM companies that is the only thing we can do. Until there is a true turnaround and there is true accountability I will continue to WARN new investors. At the end of the day all I want is for people to do their own research rather be taken in by rampers on this thread who have drawn investors in based on "friends in the know". Remember Hughie Green and rgp123!! SOME were taken in by their promise of shares trading at 25p old money(for anyone who has just joined us that is 125p today). My shares are worth a pittance, thankyou for reminding me, but I am not wearing blinkers, I can accept my losses with good humour. | jdurrant
21/6/2006 13:27 | JDurrant I havent said I'm backing this horse (or donkey), i'm merely disagreeing with individual statements being made - usually concerning rumours which I try never to base my judgement upon. Have you even checked the respective ages of the two gents you suggest are school buddys (I havent!)? My school of thought is to look at the quality of property-biased shareholders who have bought into this property company, they are much more successful businessmen than me so if they see potential in it then I believe there is potential in it. I'm not saying however that it is not going to go t*ts-up however, even the big boys make bad choices occasionally. If you have given up hope, then sell your shares and take the pittance you will receive - me I'm holding....just in case!! Regards MD | mickey dredd
20/6/2006 17:37 | God bring on the figures, if they follow the interims they should be positive and breath some life into this moribund company.. | bigdunc
20/6/2006 14:22 | The Bottle needs a cork in it before it all goes down the plug hole. | ains4
20/6/2006 12:38 | Mickey, Meanwhile the share price goes southward. Do you have any particular reason to be backing this horse. Can you tell me which one of the following school of thought you follow? A 1 litre of whiskey which is a. Half empty b. Half full c. Full 1/2 litre bottle. | jdurrant
17/6/2006 16:47 | "I guess for me the alarm bells first rang when rumour circulated that Mr Dean and Mr Williams were old school buddies." I believe that only to be a rumour, nothing more. | mickey dredd
16/6/2006 17:34 | Mickey, You are absolutley right, his resignation is welcome. What shareholder would not want to get rid of him, he is responsible for losing more than 3/4 of the value of this company. When he first came on the scene everybody was so welcoming mainly because they just wanted rid of Stephen Dean, frankly his credentials were just a shower of directorships in shady operations most of which have since disintegrated. I guess for me the alarm bells first rang when rumour circulated that Mr Dean and Mr Williams were old school buddies. | jdurrant
12/6/2006 12:35 | JDurrant - 9 Jun'06 - 17:29 - 137 of 138 Care to elaborate on your view of Mr Williams and why you think the company is corrupt or is it just an uninformed rant? (no offense intended!) Following your train of thought surely his resignation would be viewed as positve news :o) | mickey dredd |
