05/1/2006 16:37 | Agree bigdave , renaming will reposition the company. Very few out there who do what MPL is doing. | hvs
05/1/2006 16:35 | And will be even better once it is re named imo | bigbigdave
05/1/2006 16:32 | Missed out for the short term. Just watch after the AGM. MPL is way undervalued and the action will come. | hvs
05/1/2006 16:00 | Well we appear to have missed out on this week's excitement. MPL is obviously one that was missed by the press in all the hype about oil, commodity and gambling stocks | ygor705
30/12/2005 19:32 | giddy goat - the 140K and the 150K look like buys imo, as does the 50K. so about 355K buys with the small trades imo. About 150K sells the rest, looks like there is a large buyer sucking up stock imo. CR | cockneyrebel
30/12/2005 16:53 | It must do. | hvs
30/12/2005 15:04 | CR, According to Digital Look over 500,000 traded today virtually all Sells. Does this suggest MM's are filling a larger buy order as price has gone up ?? | giddygoat
30/12/2005 12:56 | We shall see, very very undervalued. | hvs
30/12/2005 12:50 | Yes...its looking to form a platform at a higher level. The question is where. Still haven't discounted a predator stake building on this one. Happy New Year to all. | ygor705
30/12/2005 11:25 | Its looking good. | hvs
30/12/2005 11:23 | some more large trades today - the bulk must be buys to be pushing the price up like this. Making a nice breakout anyway, after a reverse head and shoulders. Broken out into a steeper trend. CR | cockneyrebel
30/12/2005 11:21 | Its looking very good for another spike up. Would not be surprised if we have a venture capital fund building a stake | hvs
30/12/2005 11:16 | I wonder what happened to those 2.5 mil shares - balance of the 7.5 mil sold by F AB B and not bought by Goldman - as they represent a significant 4% of MPL's capitalisation. Obviously not bought as a block as no RNS has been issued. Price to trade 10k is now 43.8/45.7p with HLS. | clangor2
30/12/2005 10:21 | Looks like there is no stock around. Anytime there is a BUY the price moves up. Looks very very good. | hvs
29/12/2005 13:22 | It certainly has. Looks good. | hvs
29/12/2005 11:58 | Sorry, I don't have that slowtrain. 100K trade at the mid, looks like it has kicked MPL off :-) CR | cockneyrebel
29/12/2005 10:43 | Hi, Would anybody have an electronic copy of the Rowan Dartington or the Panmure Gordon research? | slowtrain11
28/12/2005 20:43 | I agree, it has to be a one bagger at the very least. | hvs
28/12/2005 19:59 | thanks, the same to you. I think MPL will be a very good performer myself. Keep looking at COST imo - £670m sales, mkt cap £153m. You have to think MPL could do a third of that turnover easily - mkt cap £25m. Got to be a onebagger on that basis - then look at the pension situations, COST looks dire where as MPL looks very reasonable. Add in MPL paying a divi of 2.5% this year and COSt not paying any. MPL looks way undervalued on that basis and COST were valued at 25% higher not long ago too. CR | cockneyrebel
28/12/2005 19:51 | Hi CR, Trust you had a good Christmas break . Wishing you do well in 2006, MPL should perform well. | hvs
28/12/2005 19:45 | Sorry slowtrain, I'm not sure it's even out yet. I suspect it will be released after the company changes its name on Jan 16, which makes sense imo. Rowan Dartington forecasts are exciting enough IMO. 4.91p eps 2006, 6.41p eps 2007. PE of 8.5 falling to 6.7 for 2007. 40% earnings growth this year, 30% next year. 100% pre-tax growth this year, 50% in 2007. A 2.5% yield too. They may actually be ahead on those estimates too. B.Dolphin forecasts will be interesting when they come available. sorry ygor - I'm not a CZT follower. CR | cockneyrebel
28/12/2005 19:23 | Hi, This looks potentially interesting . Does anybody have the Brewin Dolphin research...? Cheers | slowtrain11
22/12/2005 13:53 | Yes its running again. Do you follow CZT (Cozart) CR? Dropping like a stone for no apparent reason.............. | ygor705
22/12/2005 12:49 | yep, plenty of buyers for the smallest dip :-) CR | cockneyrebel
22/12/2005 09:23 | Looking good again today. | hvs |
