How long before the bank takes over it?
Maybe a better question is how long until the money runs out?

60% down in the 6 months since the 45p Placing and Primary Bid Offer - will the incredibly poorly researched fools laughably masquerading as MPL Institutional Investors ever learn?

I recall finding a photo of the little Indian business that had been commissioned to survey the creek shortly after its AIM listing. It was a couple of indians on a home made bamboo and oil drum raft paddling around the river poking a tree branch in to see how deep it was. That photo was soon made to disappear, I guess they paid them off with a back hander to remove the photo. However from that moment on it was obvious it was going to pan out as fraud to me and I warned Simon Gordon who set up the original thread, he soon conceded too. Yea I remember the photo posted of the football pitch and volley pitch, that was when Azalea finally accepted he had been taken in by it and yea I wonder what happened to him as he seemed to vanish after that photo

So they raised £10m in August at 45p and looks like none of it has gone on the port. The coal storage (which caused a spike up in the share price when announced) is about as low margin and dirty as it gets. Wait for the locals to kick up a stink about all the coal spillage as evidenced on google earth Another raise to fund 'remediation'?

This company is a complete scam; in what world is that port valued so highly?

Latest google earth is always revealing. The 'jetty', still not complete is being used to unload and store coal while the other part that's actually developed is the bridge project. All really really low value.

I think what he's trying to say is the 9m market cap is probably a little high a d may need to be closer to zero.

d2 - 'Has anyone checked the ship tracker website recently to see what activity and what types of ships are using the port?'

I don't need to ...... as a Master Mariner I know that only small vessels with a draft similar to the small craft seen in a marina are capable of safely accessing the terminal via the 3 mile approach channel from Mumbai Harbour.

This is because Karanja Creek has only been dredged to a depth of 3 meters. According to the latest Hydrographic Office navigational charts for Mumbai Harbour and its connecting waterways, in some areas of Karanja Creek there is now barely 2 meters of available water due to the impact of monsoon season siltation.

Conundrum:

£200m - Carrying value of the Karanja Asset in the accounts

£9m - Market Cap

Answers on a postcard to the Mumbai Fraud Squad - the best entry will win an all expenses paid holiday to the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai, where they will stay in the £1,000/day private rooms previously used by Mahatma Gandhi at shareholder's expense and, get to meet the legendary white gloved butler, the star of "Karanja Heist" the new Bollywood blockbuster, on it's premiere night!

Has anyone checked the ship tracker website recently to see what activity and what types of ships are using the port?

I recommend you do and then ask yourself why is the market cap/share price so high?

The market cap is still way to big for the income generated and what the port actually offers.

This port will never get close to emulating it’s regional rivals; it will remain a low impact dock for low value, slow delivery products and materials
