Your strategy is good. I would just say with all your wealth of worldy knowledge, you should write a book on creating wealth that will assist 1000’s of others and give up the daily stress. Mpl. has managed to buy a “rent free accomodation” in your head.

Holding long term grudges clearly is not great for the heart over long term...

fig - its no great effort.....after decades of running international ship management companies and Ports, I can write management reports/posts in my area of expertise at dictation speed.

Learned from long experience that nearly all Brokers Notes - although usually written by articulate people - are usually of very limited value (I could go on tour with the material in Arden partners Analyst Notes on MPL !), since they're written almost universally by Analysts who hold no professional qualifications in, and have no senior management experience of, the businesses of the sectors/companies they cover.

That's why two industry friends(BP and Shell veterans) and I stick largely to what we know investment wise ......the long term highly cyclical Global Shipping and Ports industries, and the tied at the hip commodity sectors (O&G/LNG/Industrial Metals); since 90% of all commodities and finished goods at some time see the bottom of a ships cargo hold or tanks, and port terminal storage.

It's a strategy that has served us well since 2000.

I’ve never creid over spilled milk, you mean seem very disgruntled. I would not spend 4years of my life crying over some money I lost.
Better ways to utilise my time and efforts.

You could have writen a book.

The MPL. investment document was only 68pages, yet you wrote 120pages on MPL..

If i wanted to save somebody 1k, I’d rather do something more substantial in helping others.

Imagine the stress of it ll at your age..

I would hate to believe for a minute that BP were deliberately unmoralistic.

However, I can easily believe that of the MPL BoD, some of whom have been arrested for fraud.

I think we can also reasonably deduce why our lovely Chairman, Nikitall Ghandi, was beaten within minute of his life some years ago.

Imagine how many natural lives were damaged and the cost to the natural environment.
The company is still listed and people still invest billions every year.

If you invest in oils then morality should never come into any argument.
Whether it is BP or a tiny oil co in the indian ocean, both will damage the environment, natural wildlife, fish. That is way more than £40m.

If you wanted to act morally, you would not invest in a single oil company ever, not ANY oil companies that is for sure, they are all corrupt in some form or another, and damage the surrounding environments each and every time over and over again in different parts of the world, where greed calls.
I can think of numerous other companies, dozens in fact where you may not fully trust the BOD, even the govt can u-turn, some go into suspensions and finally liquidation proceedings. Points taken however if there is corporate interest by another partner and the share price rises above where we are, it will be a good punt for 2021.

You might think what are your personal morals?
Do you want to be associated with a scam which has bought misery to your fellow investors?
Do you want to simply enrich someone for minimal work done.

Do you want to support that with your money?

I do not.

But i agree the share price may be pumped higher, if an credible ii takes a stake.

Mount T I'm in for a small punt. I wouldn't call this an 'investment'. Many listed companies are not really investments but 'list' to take our money from us.

I'm looking for some corporate change, like someone with clout taking an equity stake and pushing the project forward.

Failures come in many guises, whether Fraud, misleading, exaggerations, PR marketing etc.

Railtrack, Eurotunnel come to mind, whats the end difference? all Zeros's eventually and someone else enriched along the way.

If you can bring anyone to task, great, but nothing will happen IMO. This is the stock market and look at all the frauds from china that were once listed on the main market. Has anyone been held to account?

I don't think anyone is buying in here naively after 10 yrs or so thinking it's a blue chip real estate opportunity.

Every share I buy, I wonder if the management are working for shareholders or for themselves.

f99 - we submitted a circa 120 page file to the Aim Regulator, UK Special Fraud Office and FCA.

Seven letters were submitted to the Nomad without reply.

Since we started bringing the appalling behaviour of the Board to the attention of this thread in November 2016 ...... explaining why the company is un-investible..... the market has completely validated this view by driving the share price down 98% - if our industry experience has saved just one investor from getting burnt it will have been worthwhile.

Just summerise the research.

However, I personally won’t be selling - sorry.
If I ever lose money, it is my money to lose, not yours or anyone else’s, so let me/ others invest in any company I/ we wish to, and likewise you can invest in any stock, fund, warrant, option or Govt bond as you wish. I wont deter you, nor get in your way. In the polite way, I’m not a stock priest, don’t plan to be.

Let me know what the FCA say, they will and publish any investigation. Not mean’t to be sarcastic. Let them know what you know and they will deal with it. I’m done.

Aplogies for disrespecting you.

Now report the company to the FCA, as opposed to telling everthing you know over and over, what the point in that. Doesn’t deter investors, we do our own research.
As for AIOHO/DYOR,why even write that?
YOU know everything about this company. You have done the research for everybody.

I will forward your research to the FCA, it is really insightful and colorful, hopefully that will satisfy you.
That is what you want to bring the management down.
