Yes, but remember the placing price was a theoretical figure at which the business was acquired, not a real figure at which cash was exchanged in return for shares. Based on Edisons research and taking into account the underlying £10m value of the assets acquired, it would appear that the real value of the shares pre consolidation is 0.18p, not the current 0.40p.
