To be quite honest I am thinking that any patents or IP was made up and completely worthless. All part of the scam operating from what was virtually a lock up. We all got suckered in and the only justice we will ever get is if go hunting with baseball bats.

Weren't the patents transferred over to Xgel? If so, would the proceeds from the sale of patents go to Xgel SLN holders?

Not heard anything. If there was any money left, ladbrokes would probably have it to go towards clearing muncasters debts. Will keep an eye out

Just got an intriguing call that Meldex patents are being bought and the shareholders are going to get a pay out. I presume this is a fraud as usual but was wondering if anyone else has received this call.

The fraud squad did turn up though when I was there for an SLN holders meeting and files were handed over on Trevconmillions and stevie pie man martin. All came to nothing of course and was all probably just a ruse to suggest progress was made with new deals with the baccy companies. One day, probably when I have snuffed it, the wife will realise how stupid i was, luckily I have a decent job so I have evaded a stringing up by my tackle for now

Drove past hostmoore drive in March the other day, had a sick feeling in my stomach, the bookies are missing Barry in March and Wisbech and not forgetting Newmarket. Great days out on SLN money (expenses)

Also note 'Thomas Engelen' is on the Board.

Strangely this is the same guy Lexuss happened to suggest to take over Meldex.

Lexuss said back in January 2009:
'In parallel with the setting up of the ‘core group’ we continued our search for a suitable leader. This eventually resulted in the identification of Thomas Engelen and after completing as much research on him as we could, we were satisfied he ticked all the right boxes.'

Is it possible you can ever post something that is straight to the point? I think we all know you are obsessed with Rob Malloy (but probably wouldn't say anything to his face), but can you elaborate about my moral compass without the flannel

I had forgotten about this "supposedly" reputable company HL until this story today. That was a dodgy time wasn't it when they were involved in a potential sale and around 95p. Brian whatshis face threatening legal action. Would love for that deal to looked into. What a crooked pile of steaming cack this whole company has been from start to finish

Statement on Press Coverage

The GVC board of directors notes yesterday's press coverage regarding the disposal of the Group's Turkish-facing business ("the Disposal") in 2017. The board highlights the following:

-- The Disposal was subject to an arms-length competitive process, overseen by Houlihan Lokey investment bank.

-- The details of the Disposal were fully disclosed on 2 November 2017 'Disposal' and on completion on 20 December 2017 'Disposal Completion'.

What can you expect? It now turns out the Financial Conduct Authority was asleep at the wheel on the Woodford affair.

These quangos exist solely to provide jobs for the boys.

Past execs and non execs must now be sleeping easy, they now know that they have got away with this. Lexuss & Mad Mike and colleagues seemed to have enough info but had to give up and with the passage of time, the fight has gone from all of us. What a big con it all was
