#88361 Probably one of those 'Financial' specialists, nosing around, trying to get important financial institutions (like ADV FN) to transfer their operation to Paris, post-Brexit.

As it happens, I AM passing the business to 4 long serving employees (for a very modest stipend)

There is obviously something that you aren't telling us; which is fair enough, of course.

I imagine you have paid more than your fair share.

What are you afraid of?

Why do you want me retired AVATAR333? Surely, I am worth more to you as a tax-paying, humble, workman.

I was rather hoping that money didn't come into the equation.

I think your sons have plenty, in any case.

#88350 Thank you very much for that excellent and thought provoking advice. Truth is, I pay her more than that for 'services'.

A bit of advice which may help those who are worried about retiring:

Tell the wife you are working from home (hence able to avoid TV restoration shows) .

For a bit of insurance, if you are worried about the wife nagging you to do things (fannying about in the garden etc.), give her the number of a man, who for a ton a day, will take care of them.

I'm hoping that the use of the avatar in 88335 and 88336 indicates he is in his cave (if he must avoid the wife).
