24/12/2016 14:08 | My assessment is that any takeover will occur somewhat later then sooner probably much later. The placing may well be based on settlement of remaining debt, total share issue of around 40 million, and a reaffirmation of reserves along with an announcement of modest increased daily gas and oil production and a projected 2017/18 of significant increases. The market will then need to judge its likely accuracy and the competency of the leadership team. I suspect with increasing prices it will be a win win as @ $60 a barrel Matra will likely significantly hedge and assure its 2017/18 figures. This will add impetus to the share price. The danger right at the start being that people sell up suppressing reality allowing for institutions and others to get in on the very cheap. | saulcom1
24/12/2016 13:36 | I agree with you all, I still think there's more to this yet | budgetbond
24/12/2016 13:04 | mrdon1, you right, its exactly, how I read Scheme of Arrangement Doc. But I assume, that large UK nominees already hold some portfolio in Euroclear, so for they clients process will be more or less automatic. | oilfinder1
24/12/2016 12:42 | The old team Barski and Eric Forss (Forsinvest) achieved a lot before. Let's hope for a repeat! 2010 article | fbrj
24/12/2016 12:36 | mrdon1 - I haven't explored this fully but I think the situation is that some uk brokers will trade CDIs - but not all (eg Barclays). I think you have to find out on a case by case basis. It would be useful if ppl could post here when they find a broker who will trade these. | fbrj
24/12/2016 12:27 | Sorry guys New Matra CDIs can at any point in time be converted to New Matra Shares. A holder of the New Matra CDIs will then have to open an account with a nominee in Sweden after which New Matra CDIs can be traded in for New Matra Shares. Does this mean we have to open a broker account in Sweden ? | mrdon1
24/12/2016 10:56 | Advice please my friends, when these are listed on the Swedish Stock Market, can they be held in an ISA here at home? I think these will increase in value with the move in WTI. | m1cmac
24/12/2016 10:20 | beggerman, agree with you about a placing i believe they have an acquisition lined up when re listed, which brings us back to a possible link with dome energy. interesting times. For what its worth, i for one wont be selling any. Happy christmas all. | 100egs
24/12/2016 09:57 | As always the way ahead is shrouded in mystery and conjecture. I hope that when the smoke screen clears we have at least the delist value in the 'New Shares' and that we can easily trade them whenever we want to. It's all very unclear at the moment. | doxford
24/12/2016 09:38 | There must be more to this than just listing the shares or it doesn't achieve anything. As things stand they are not raising any new capital or making an acquisition/merger, therefore they are taking on more administration and regulation without any benefit. They are borrowing half a million dollars to complete the listing formalities, this raises the question are they proposing to make their debt repayment ($5m) on 1st of January or are they deferring the repayment and have no reserves left? I would expect a placing as soon as the shares are listed, there has to be a reason for going down this route. | beggarman
24/12/2016 07:21 | The good news Super is they will relist soon so you can sell and move on..happy xmas | calmtrader
24/12/2016 06:18 | No one concerned that MB and Vlad back pay amounts to over 3% of value of company at delist .Reward for removing shares from trading for over three years . | supertedsmith
23/12/2016 22:02 | Many positives: All interests in it together (ie we are now shoulder to shoulder with the other holders in Matra USA, who are now in the holding co with us - previously there might have been doubts how our interests were aligned - eg allocation of costs/revenues). You might quibble about the amount of dilution, past salaries etc etc but no real option - so forget it! After all, the show is still on the road..... Very interesting re Forsinvest. The guy behind this is Eric Forss, who is an old mucker of Barski's. They were in it together in the old West Siberian Resources/ Alliance days. He has ponied up all the cash (even with the loan would he risk that if the whole operation was about to go bust?) Very interesting link if you can decipher the translation -read to the end! I'm looking forward to hanging on to their coattails! EDIT: link corrected | fbrj
23/12/2016 20:12 | Never in doubt. This looks bloody marvellous. Happy days and merry Xmas everyone | budgetbond

23/12/2016 19:36 | from reading: CDI will be held by Computershare, actual shares of AB will be held by Euroclear. | oilfinder1
23/12/2016 19:07 | So they will be held by computershare | calmtrader
23/12/2016 19:01 | matra shares are in my online share account | mrdon1
23/12/2016 19:00 | Mrdon. Do you hold a physical cert or in electronic form? | calmtrader
23/12/2016 18:53 | calmtrader how do we know if we are registered with Computershare? sorry if this is a stupid question! | mrdon1
23/12/2016 18:42 | calm - I reckon they will try for 25sek but it all depends how liquid the market in the shares are. If it proves illiquid they will drop like a stone. | beggarman
23/12/2016 18:40 | oilfinder1 - I was just reading through the document, it states that we will receive 5 shares in Matra AB for every share held in Matra plc if the resolution is passed. It then goes on to say that if the shares are admitted to the Stockholm stock exchange there will be a consolidation of 1000 to 1. Therefore there will be 36m shares in circulation, if Matra USA is valued at $100m that would give a share price of $2.77 or £2.25 or 27sek. | beggarman
23/12/2016 18:34 | Beggar man. I agree but of course its market cap on listing that's key | calmtrader |
