10/5/2013 12:27 | Matchtech has been nominated by me as my HIDDEN GEM OF THE YEAR ON AIM. I was recently asked if I had any other AIM-listed hidden gems. Another VERY INTERESTING AIM-listed company which has come across my radar is TOTAL PRODUCE who?? who are they??? I hear you say. Indeed hidden. Their Ticker is TOT. An AIM listed Company with a TURNOVER of Euro2.81 BILLION ( yes 2.81billion euro ). Dividend Yield 3%. And a long history of paying dividends at that. Six years. And recently increasing. PROFIT BEFORE TAX Euro 37 million. Is this perhaps the biggest AIM listed Company that no-body has ever heard of? I have given a corporate snap-shot on the TOT thread with a link to their web-site. Looks interesting to me. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
23/4/2013 13:10 | Very positive feature/article in Shares Magazine about Matchtech this week Edition 18th. April. Page 24. In the section of the magazine called " Small Caps - Profit from future Stars" The article, which is two-thirds of a page long, is titled:- "Matchtech is in the right market" and subtitled "Recruitment agency is serving a rare bright spot for global jobs". The stock is rated a +BUY by Shares Magazine. The article references the recent 25% surge in half-year figures, the attractions of the well-covered prospective 4.6% yield and the recent increase in dividend. Some quotes from the Shares article:- " The share trades at nearly three times lower than mainstream recruitment companies like Robert Walters and Michael page. Yet we believe its niche engineering focus makes it a more compelling investment proposition than its sector peers" "...more than 20% ahead in the past month alone. But the story has further to run." Worth tracking down a copy of Shares to read full article. Excellent to see highly respected Shares picking up on the Matchtech proposition and clearly saying many positive things about this burgeoning company. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
16/4/2013 15:31 | It is interesting to compare the flat figures of generalists Hays and today Michael Page to the very strong figures of Specialist Engineering Recruitment firm, Matchtech. It makes me think that if any of the Big Boys want to get in on the more lucrative and robust Specialist Engineering sector that Matchtech would be a possible candidate for running the slide rule over. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
12/4/2013 11:38 | Good to see Matchtech make it to the inside columns of the FT today. Page 20. Markets section. Article mentions that Company has benefited from extending contracts with BAE and Transport for London amongst others. And that pre-tax profit up by 25% and also that the Company is increasing its dividend. The same column also mentions Hays whose performance in the UK was by comparison "flat". This compares starkly to the great performance of Matchtech which is involved in SPECIALIST ENGINEERING and TECHNICAL recruiting which is a very buoyant sector. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
