04/10/2021 14:42 | Daily Mail comments section: "Rose of the Dales, Leeds, United Kingdom, 13 hours ago I agree with everything this article states. It is a very worrying sign imo that this is allowed to happen. Government should be acting to protect companies like Morrisons. We as a country seem to becoming more and more vulnerable with our infrastructures being sold off to none British businesses, who then dismantle them, load them with debt and then sell them on. Who ends up paying for all this but the British taxpayer, in benefits and loss of tax revenue. These companies are not investing in Britain but are hell bent on making a profit for themselves, without a care for this country and its people." This was part of the downfall of DEBENHAMS which many didnt expect. Debenhams was bought out by private equity then delisted from the stock market, then private equity sold off DEBENHAMS freeholds and did a lease back of stores. DEBENHAMS was then listed on the stock market private equity made a huge profit. The high rents made the group unsustainable and it was only time when DEBENHAMS went bust. | debsdowner

04/10/2021 09:54 | Retail Gazette says the big four supermarkets have already lost 2 billion of sales to empty shelves, so its likely other supermarkets in the sector have lost sales as well. 03/10/2021 21:53 | Humpty, I dont think its wrong to call you a clown if you talk like one or act like one with respect. By the way the word "ducky" doesnt reflect the anormouse amount of intelect I input into these debates perhaps you would be so kind to refrain from such common language. Neither am I an cashier at a gambling arcade you dont actualy know whether I am a holder of this stock at the moment, ever held this stock or trading this stock, your comments are purely speculative. In the meantime the Telegraph has this evening done an article on inflation which suggests the UK inflation rate to be far higher than the US or Europe which is a real concern for households, interest rates and a potential property crash. | debsdowner
03/10/2021 21:14 | PO hi, It’s becoming clear to most readers here that the subscriber Debbie is by all accounts a cashier at a gambling arcade and lots of time on her hands, which she fills by endless derogatory notes on the advfn site, all of which indicates a schizophrenic personality.I don’t believe she has any stocks at all. I suppose we should sympathise. | neilhumphreys
03/10/2021 20:45 | Debb’s ducky, Shocking comment on my post, absolutely outrageous harassment “ contradiction in terms you clown. LOL” Calling names is hardly the way to conduct business madam! I’m appalled! | neilhumphreys
03/10/2021 18:01 | PO my long term price target is no different from long time price targets from most anaysts, if you read the analysts notes they give a rough time scale when the target should be achieved and in the shorter term the share price can still fall. My price target of £2 should be achieved by Christmas and if it is I am inclined to raise it to £2.25-£2.50 dependant on trading report after Chistmas. | debsdowner |
