Sold all and bought back a couple of days ago for increased number of shares. Try to look after capital value as dividends gone for now. Would not do these this things if divs there. Have a nice weekend.

Also I agree about DEBENHAMS it is a shame the department stores vanishing the personal service is something that cannot be replicated online.

Hi robot good to see you back on here.

Have a look at Lookers it would have been a good play prior to delisting due to fraud but the amount of overstatement rather immaterial which I said so just before delisting.

It was relisted today and price near doubled but could still be worth investing the net asset value was well above delisting and probable still is.

You could argue that if today was a bad day on the Market.
Then TODAY is the time to buy
as the next trading day will be February.

See boohoo. But think fast fashion may be displaced by trendy... Being eco and environmental friendly... Which means basically more quality and local products.A complicated consideration, almost old fashioned but AI is in the mix.

Post pandemic, I think the will be a refitting of personal appearance etc, and in shop too. Marks should benefit. Funny way of putting it, but get the drift.

Online fashion retailer Boohoo (BOO.L) has confirmed that it is exclusive talks with Arcadia Group to buy three of Sir Philip Green's retail brands.According to Sky News Boohoo is leading the race to snap up Dorothy Perkins, Burton and Wallis for an estimated £25m ($34m).Any deal would be for the brands and not the high street stores, and could wrap up Green's remaining retail interests and the closure of all 444 stores in his retail empire.... Good afternoon Qantas and Debsdowner .

Debsdowner , Do you think funny girls will open again in Blackpool ,it was our place for a great laugh .

Don't you miss going for a laugh .

Well flump have gone and a new chapter opens .

Not as many Numptys on here nowadays !!!.

Sorry for Debenhams , it used to be nice in cold weather ,go in and have a laugh with the counter staff , warm up a bit , nip in the changing booths curtains drawn occasionally .and if taken short use the loos .

It was a real fun place to go.

The death of the high street is well on the way now .

So plenty of shops for charities ,cheap out lets , housing conversions , and knocking joints .

Still looking for my next buy .

You and Qantas always have good ideas .

Post pandemic I think M&S might do well with its service station outlets.
More and more people will have electric cars which take longer to "fill".
So they might as well get their shopping at the service centre while
they wait.
M&S are in the driving seat!

ASSOS and BooHoo virtually bought up ARCADIA and DEBENHAMS brands but MARKS have bought niche brands such as Jaeger and done deals to sell such as Joules.

None have however taken on any stores as yet, when the High Street opens it will not be the same again.

John Redwood@johnredwood1hThe EU attacks the Union of the U.K. by trying to disrupt trade between GB and Northern Ireland, whilst Nicola Sturgeon tries to use the EU as a lever against the Union. The PM needs to stand up to these challenges and to legislate a U.K. solution to trade and fish.

JLP have a London based head office which is sheer folly. Just one example of the inept management who have been asleep at the wheel for years
