Porsche,

The is my thread leave robot alone, and less of the foul language towards robot as well.

As for your other comments on the virus if it carries on the way it's doing it will wreck the economy further and is far worse than fhe flu.

@robot (imbecile)

Is the adult learning centre closed at the moment? Is that why you are on here so much? You are right, I don’t drive a Porsche anymore, I drive a Kahn RR Sport.

@debdpwner
‘ people will die of other illnesses “, they already are because they can’t get the treatment they need because all the hospitals are frozen up with time wasting pointless covid and useless doctors only doing phone surgeries. 1.2 million deaths, mostly of comorbid people, out of 7.4 billion world population, is it really worth bankrupting everyone for such a tiny number. U.K. is heading back to the 70’s regardless, an IMF bailout by this time next year.

Edinburgh Wool Mill may end up as a pre-pack administration where creditors including both the banks and suppliers take a hit.

Whatever happens there will be massive store closures and significant job losses as most the stores no longer viable due to the change in shopping habits and the coronavirus reducing footfall.

I suspect it wont be long before we hear about a massive restructure of the group and store closures with a pre-pack. Day will cling onto the best parts of the group but I think BonMarche has had it and possibly Edinburgh Wool Mill stand alone stores.

As for Ponden Mill other stores have a similar business model I am not sure whether that part the business will survive.

Then there is his Day's stores which he has only just started to open the last few years which have also been caught out by the virus.

The High Street is still in meltdown and has lot further to fall.

Latest rise in Corona cases last 24 hours disclosed 10th October(yesterday in brackets) :

Positive cases 15,166 (13,846)

Patients in hospital 3,660

On ventilator 442 (436)

Admissions 684 (597)

Deaths 87

Positive infections now bouncing back up again higher than yesterday and I would expect them to get worse as up North the younger population gone on the town over the weekend having a last drink which is a selfish attitude to take.

Joey Deacon9 Oct 2020 5:48PMWell, at least the councils will have plenty of property to redevelop soon for all these millions of houses that need to be built for our overpopulated island.  It'll all be on the High Street, because there won't be any shops there anymore this time next year.10LikeReplyJohn Smith9 Oct 2020 6:09PMYes and what worries me is they will all be carved up into large blocks of flats for people with no jobs. The look ok for the first couple of years until the rot sets in5LikeReplylg lgm9 Oct 2020 7:13PM@John Smith And they will be leasehold so all the "owners," they think, will be fleeced for lease renewals in about eighty years time. If they don't pay up they will have absolutely nothing when the lease ends.LikeReplyRichard Carlson10 Oct 2020 3:09PM@John Smith Yes, and the rot will as it always has.
