It was a good call from EJ when share price was £5! He would doubtless revise it now.

I remember EJ having a target of between 1200p and 1500p on a 2 year basis I think he will be a little wrong on his projections.
Will our big buyer return today..?

Closed approx £18.70 mid. The one downside about the continually rising share price is that analysts will eventually have to downgrade their recommendations (until results catch up and they upgrade their share price targets), as evidenced by the following:

NEW YORK, January 30 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Merriman Curhan downgrade March Networks from Buy to Neutral.

Yes i think they did, but would they be obliged to disclose if they were ahead of expectations?

Also don't forget everyone, starting today:

Although not really a trade fair, a great opportunity for March none the less with several of their clients, partners, competitors involved.

Note that there is representation from San Francisco BART there, I think linked to San Francisco Muni (7th largest public transport provider in the states) who are currently trialling March Networks.

Rochester-Genesee's verdict is a huge vote of confidence on this front imo.

They didn't give explicit guidance for Q3 but I seem to remember them mentioning that Q3 revenues would be less than Q2 due to seasonal factors.

Would they be obliged to do so sranmal? I thought they categorically said they would not be giving any more guidance or updates until next results (answer to question at last results).

See big buyer back again today 65k at 11p over.

Wrt Toronto, share price had been doing very well (+3%) with about 15 minutes to go when a seller appeared and it looked like the price was knocked down to take advantage of the seller/s, if that was the case and the seller has done then I would expect a mark up today over there.

If we do get a trading statement due to having beat expectations, I'd expect it end of this week / early next week. However, not expecting one (just a suggestion) since this is traditionally a weak quarter due to xmas as already flagged up by management guidance.

Closed at £17.60 mid following a small drop pre-close. End of 3rd quarter is 31 Jan, this Tuesday. May get a trading update soon after as per Q2 if results beat expectations, but going by their previous guidance, it should be a quiet quarter (seasonal) with revenues/profits less than Q2.

Explosive growth area and the silence on this BB is good news too. Didnt our friend Edmond J do well to spot this at £5 when he was writing such excellent articles on Citywire.

Once again, March appears to have a superior product to the competition. Surely there must be enormous opportunities here on European buses and trains.

Mr. Anil Dilawri reports

ROCHESTER-GENESEE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY TAKES PUBLIC SAFETY TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH MARCH NETWORKS MOBILE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE; INNOVATIVE TRANSIT AUTHORITY ADOPTS BEST-IN-CLASS TECHNOLOGY TO PROTECT CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES

The Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority (RGRTA) has selected March Networks Corp. as the enterprise standard for mobile video surveillance for its major subsidiary, Regional Transit Service (RTS).

As a step toward enhancing the safety of its passengers and drivers, the RGRTA plans to equip all new RTS buses, and intends to ultimately retrofit existing buses with the March Networks advanced mobile solution.

After conducting a head-to-head trial of various competing surveillance systems, RGRTA selected the March Networks mobile solution based on its ability to handle harsh environmental conditions, its innovative wireless download of video, integrated global positioning system (GPS) and vehicle speed-tracking capabilities, and overall reliability and managability.

"Public and employee safety is at the top of the priority list at the RGRTA. Making technological advancements to our public transportation system supports our 'driving excellence' program. Our partnership with March Networks is helping us achieve our goal of becoming the No. 1 customer service public transportation system in the nation," said Mark Aesch, chief executive officer of the Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority.

"The March Networks solution will take our video surveillance offering to the next level, bringing peace of mind to our customers and drivers, protecting our fleet assets, and offering a higher level of public transit service to our customers," said Bruce Philpott, director of RTS transit operations.

"Public transit authorities like the RGRTA require a sophisticated video recording system that can meet their exact requirements and operate in a variety of physical environments to ensure public safety and enhance their operations," said Peter Strom, president and chief executive officer of March Networks. "The March Networks mobile solution offers worldwide public transit authorities the perfect combination of durability and advanced functionality to meet today's large-scale surveillance needs."

Interestingly the announcement is not yet on the co.'s website either.

I suspect a Transit Authority (this is not a private company) contract is going to create quite a buzz on the TSX side, where March is already talk of the town.
