Wiseacre I agree there is real upside potential here due to current conditions in the market place in which Manx operates. Just a pity there is no director buying at the moment.

Tipped in the Daily Mail today. MFX must be one of the best tuck away's in the market. Can't see any downside and a good bet to double in 2013.

Looks like 6p to buy on little trades. So not much around.

dleftpalt4 We also have savings rates which are close to or under inflation to get things moving. Not many deposit takers are offering over 2% fixed so cheap money going forward.
ING was one of the larger lease companies.Cars Tractors etc are a large market.
Manx should be able to get deposits on IOM & use them for UK expansion.

GEARS I agree. The market is currently overlooking the fact that companies such as Manx can hold their lending rates whilst attracting less risky customers as a result of larger players having withdrawn from the market place for the time being.

It won't take much to get these moving. With ING leasing stopping UK business the chance to improve market share are looking better.

I agree and interesting to note directors purchases at Private & Commercial today.Small finance companies such as Manx & Private & Commercial are faced with attractive market conditions at the moment and I just hope the directors get the overheads under control so that the profits come through.

With the interest rates to savers falling weekly surely this should help our business going forward.

Slightly higher than some bonds bit it is unsecured. The 2 largest shareholders are already down a packet on this one so will want the shares to go up to just break even.Noticed they chopped their rate at the bank on the 24th oct so must have all they need for now.The margin should improve next year as the funding for lending pulls rates down very low & increases inflationary pressure.

Nice tick up on the bid pre-market, there is a buy order here but no sellers to
fill it, see the late after close buy of 15k, guess all the mm would give them.
