Not a chance. NOMAD situation is nearly sorted, just like every other company, not many have announced new NOMAD.

Management might bid but a dose of suspension would help them get a lower price - is there any chance of imminent suspension over this NOMAD business which BOD said was ' advanced ' in November!

The business has declined over recent months to 4.65p.

What’s its current market cap?

£8.37m.

What was cash at last count?

As of 30 June 2018, MRS had a cash balance of $50,000. However, chief executive Paul Brenton explained in a recent interview with TMS that this figure fluctuates wildly on a week-to-week basis. This is due to the contractual nature of its business model. Brenton added that he is comfortable with the company’s financial situation.

What’s next?

This year has seen Brenton focus on bringing together MRS’s services and plant hire businesses in Australia to cut costs and improve efficiencies.

Based on the first results for the year ended 30 June, released in December, he appears to have enjoyed some success in this area so far. The figures revealed that the firm had reversed losses in the previous year to deliver EBITDA of $12.3m and net profit after tax of $5.4m.

MRS’s services arm has enjoyed a boost from ongoing demand for high-quality coal in 2018. Meanwhile, its plant hire division has enjoyed ongoing opportunities from a large, local economic development project in Ipswich, Brisbane.

Earlier this month, Brenton told us he feels that the market has not acknowledged the significance of MRS’s turnaround efforts and strong performance. Moving forward, he said the firm expects to deliver more deals and contracts in 2019. If the business can follow through on these claims and pick up the market’s interest in the process, then its current valuation could soon look cheap.

I have set this thread up to bring the silly low share price of MRS to the attention of other PIs. I will be using it to point out the times that trades are wrongly reported. The MMs tend to often have the official offer so high that when PIs buy MRS the trade is reported as a sell. Most holders here know about the problem but newbies may not. I have certain posters filtered like arrynielson,thehitman1,Sm0ggyG and 12bm (my stalker),I suggest that others do the same,this share will come good at some point and a big bid is possible.

SmoggyG - have just been talking to trout on the non- nutters thread about the prospect of LOOOOOOOOOOMING SUUUUUUUSPENSION re the NOMAD situation - I can't get the dream outa my head that all the Nomads in the beauty pageant turned up dressed as Nitty Noras armed with specially crafted fine tooth combs on account of the company history!

It takes several weeks to do DD, if you want to panic that MRS will not get a NOMAD, then wait until the majority of Northland clients announce a new NOMAD and MRS hasn't.
At the moment I cannot see many,if not any, that have done so as yet.

The changes in NOMAD for all these companies are due to Northland being bought out, this is very different to an occasion where the NOMAD resigns, some people are trying to conflate the two, to scare people.

I hope you're right but you've got to admit the management here make it easy for SmoggyG's 'followers' - announcing being at an advanced stage in November and then taking the hoped for new NOMAD appointment to the wire bound to raise questions especially when seasoned campaigners on the other board tell us NOMAD's are as plentiful and easy to secure as a smile from Kylie!

You know they raised £910k after year end and you have probably read the interview with Paul Brenton where he explains the cash situation and how it changes each week.

As for the NOMAD that is a red herring and a NOMAD will be unveiled just as it will with all the other Northland Companies.

I have Smoggy filtered but he has his own thread where you can all post about each other, away from the MRS thread.

SmoggyG - that smoke screen of an excuse is very desperate 12bn - cash highlighted by y/e figures and the stringing out of the NOMAD negotiations to pretty much the last minute doesn't give investors confidence- particularly if NOMAD falls through and suspension happens!
