Panny. Reiteration BUY target 34p. Let's hope they have some inside info, high 20's would be nice, there is talk of MMC starting to rehire, mkt pick up, could it be that those new leads at Alexander Proudfoot are transalting into increased sales. http://investing.thisismoney.co.uk/cgi-bin/digitalcorporate/thisismoney/broker_rec.cgi

gonna pick up a few of these, looks like the recent run to this level has seen most sellers taken out after the dip to 15p. not many sellers on rough days in the general mkt last week, reckon a support level found here to make progress on

Management Consulting Group (MMC, 18.25p, £60.48m) Trading statement for the year ending December 2009 has highlighted revenues round £280m-£290m with operating profit between £28m-£30m with net debt round £90m. All 3 divisions are performing in-line with previous announcements – though Alexander Proudfoot is now confirmed as seeing some signs of recovery. This is very encouraging and we move the shares from a Hold to a BUY with a price target of 25p.

RNS update next week and very cheap recovery stock imo Haven't heard your 'bid' stories...did hear supposed 'break up' a while ago (when at 34p or so)...no need to ramp just sit back and enjoy or buy more...funnily enough although smallish volume appears to move it from time to time MMC is basically an instituional stock so advfn ramping is immaterial

With broad sentiment improving these things can just keep on moving back to 30p..

Tricky to read but it could well prove a turning point.. Sentiment is poor which is a good time to buy and although recent trading news was disappointnig it was already in the price in my view before the furher 40% share price fall! PER fundamentals etc now look absurdly cheap. Lots of gossip in recent months about breakup/deals etc When MMC moves it can move very fast Increasingly interesting at the very least?

This was the comment in the FT: Management Consulting Group hit a 10-year low, down 5 per cent to 19p. A profit warning this week has led some shareholders to argue for a break-up.
