Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 23 February 2017 it purchased for cancellation 236,499 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 145.6129 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its $100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2016. The highest price paid per share was 146.1 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 144.4 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 38,119,673 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 123.7234 pence per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 1,670,940,890.

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
