16/8/2007 10:08 | just too much risk in market at mo. maelor has shown strength, but even our beloved share is now also falling, and in this climate could fall further. | foreverhoping
16/8/2007 09:36 | If a few more holders bottle out the price should drop, although even at this price I'd be happy to buy. No hurry though, things are a bit fiesty at the mo'. | gogoneko
16/8/2007 09:29 | pixi Bought in too early I suspect sub 12p to buy for me | burrmj
15/8/2007 13:43 | One thing in favour of MLR is that in these terrible markets MLR is holding it own price at 12.75 / 13.25p, so that has to be a plus factor that not many punters are rushing to sell. | 1ch
15/8/2007 12:09 | Sounhds like Mickey Mouse land to me LOLOLOLOL | 525bmw
15/8/2007 11:54 | Much to your delight I doubled up sorry about that. | piruxi
15/8/2007 11:53 | Now is the time to be topping up--but then thats only my opinion. I managed to get a good price this morning and bought a few more. but whatever you decide good luck for jam on your cake in September. For those interested houses here in FL are really good value now. We close on a huge house in a luxury developement called Suger Mill WOODS, just off USHW19 | piruxi
15/8/2007 11:48 | Like a good indian scout, follow the signs and tracks. Yoday we have a see of red. The MMs know the MLR is now grossly under valued and simply dare not make further mark downs for fear of losing out. | piruxi
15/8/2007 09:31 | Conversely if it seen to disappoint because the growth is not as exciting as might have been expected the reverse can be equally as startling, particular | alibongo612
14/8/2007 21:10 | One thing the AGM will say is that turnover is up - how much is the question - surprising what a bit of good news can do for the share price. We only have to look on the fast movers board to see how the slightest of good news can increase the share price by a good percentage - in some cases when other companies have hardly any turnover and a big capitalisation. So keep one's eyes to the ground early September. | 1ch
14/8/2007 17:48 | yes but it does not appeal to me. Do your homework, do it right then its easy to have faith in what you buy. | piruxi
14/8/2007 15:58 | piruxi re " if you have faith you make money normally, at least I have " Ever heard of blind faith ? | alibongo612
14/8/2007 15:56 | I've come across him before - he doesn't stand up to scrutiny. | alibongo612
14/8/2007 14:50 | That is rubbish absolute rubbish. Why do we buy shares? We buy them trusting that the company will improvge sales and its market share, it does this throught dealing, read the last MLR report and MLR has itself stated its on the acquistion trail, that means for the blockheads here its out there doing deals of which we know noghting yet. Its just like educating those on the CFE thread as to why I bough them----faith only as the figures were a great big put off and still are and look at the deals Barty is doing there, of course we know nothing until they are done and delt---same is happening with MLR We buy shares most of the time oo faith in the board, if you have faith you make money normally, at least I have. I am sticking to 50p year end or thereabouts. Of course there are those neggies here who really know nothing, except how to moan and be negative. I am more than happy with MLR | piruxi
14/8/2007 14:41 | piruxi now you really are being disingenuous. As you are well aware you were accused of ramping for simply repeating " 50p imminent " without being able to support it. You subsequently qualified it by stating you were taking account of future deals that hadn't been done yet which was even more ridiculous. Had you simply stated that it looks promising I doubt whether anyone would have accused you of ramping. I think even you can see the difference. If not it is you that is engulfed in a wave of paranoia. | alibongo612
14/8/2007 14:05 | Definately not, I have been posting here since taking an early materity leave about three months or so, However it seems my style has created a wave of paranoia, with all the neggies, yourself included. | piruxi
14/8/2007 14:03 | piruxi, have you ever been known by any other name on advfn? | foreverhoping
14/8/2007 13:56 | Promblem is here is that they dont like positive postings which they see as ramping. If you look at some of the threads I and certain other have posted above, you will find some good leeds. Also see the Lewis Charles roport of last year, there are two, one post and one pre Accorus. These should give you a lead to the forthcoming statement from the AGM next month. It all looks promising very pronising indeed---but ooooops there I go ramping again silly me, what do I know? | piruxi
13/8/2007 15:45 | any ideas anyone on positive news from the AGM, would be nice to hear some, should give the share price a nudge in the right direction | fo77y
13/8/2007 14:47 | 'If' turnover increases as the same percentage next year as it did last year, then the fundamentals will make this stock look very good value. The costs are fairly static over the last 2 years and are easy to calculate, the only variable is turnover - and how much they can increase it by, will then decide what the new eps will be and pe ratio. Are they not in a fairly niche market, and is there not some news on 5th September to come? | 1ch
13/8/2007 14:03 | Whilst he was " doing the basics " | alibongo612
13/8/2007 11:44 | was that in refernce to doing the basics? I think not. | piruxi
13/8/2007 09:55 | au contraire piruxi it is you that has " not done your homework on the fundamentals " Don't I recall that it was only recently that you informed us that your attention span was not compatible with sound research ? Clearly it's also not compatible with remembering what you have previously said - " I admire your patience in setting it all out in a readable manner, I see shares as a fun thing and dont have the attention span, nor the desire to do what you have admirably presented us here with, well done. However I am good at spotting these wealth makers and in an unscientific way which afforded me to get in a little earlier than most here." | alibongo612 |
