Thanks asp5,

To add to your post there are a couple of -ve points for the sake of balanced views:

1) The recent placing was oversubscribed, suggesting that a sound proposition was put forward, but in light of recent events, it could also be argued that a reasonable number were deliberately offered undervalued shares to make a short-term killing. This is unless it's revealed that one of the earlier majority shareholders has set the 15p price as some kind of breakeven value and are desperate to exit - it won't be known until we receive a shareholding RNS. Either scenario can't be seen as positive that some are so eager to abandon Maelor when potentially there's a long and prosperous road ahead, and I'm personally suspicious of the way this aspect of the placing is continuing to unfold.

2) I read no compulsion for the deferred #5m consideration to take five years to pay in equal installments. As we don't know the revenue targets then theoretically they could take as much of the repayment money as possible from the cashflow this year and next and leave nothing appearing in the profits after tax for a couple of years keeping a lid on the share price.

3) The proverbials: "First time lucky"; past success is no guarantee of future success. Tim Wright has built a business from scratch already, but maybe it was "first time lucky" as this is a different time, place, team and business: "If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is"; does this apply to Maelor's forward looking statements?

4) Maelor provides primarily to critical care : If suspicions start surfacing in the minds of NHS managers and politicians that too much profit is being made from the NHS it would only take one government minister to say "We're considering opening and enquiry into the prices paid for equipment and services in critical care" to send Maelor's shares to 7p. Similarly if Maelor becomes too acquisitive in one area will the competition cry "monopoly"?

Despite these negative comments I feel that once the Maelor sales and marketing team are able to demonstrate in the results their promotion of the Acorus product range (which Acorus were underresourced to do) then we'll see the share price motor, and that's before a push to markets outside the UK and new products coming available (inhouse or through acquisitions). It is a bit of a surprise to not see a dedicated Sales and Marketing Director on the board though, perhaps one will be appointed soon to compliment the new Commercial Manager.

I also think that annual costs will be in excess of #1.6m and increasing as turnover grows, and some exceptionals will appear in this year-end accounts to dampen the profit after tax.

Oh and furthermore we never did drift, in fact MLR has stood the prevailing market forces very well indeed, so if you have to post your negative claptrap please at least try to get it right.

Give me a break foreverhoping, your last post on III was -- "AND SO WE DRIFT"

Hardly what one could call inspiring, enthusiastic or motivated.

I dont know why you bother to be in this company or indeed shares full stop.

There is no doubt that this share neds PRs. I suggest that all of you who hold give your reasons for dong so and not post negative stuff.

We leave on Sunday morning early for our annual vaction home in FL, so I wont be here to keep this share in the public eye and as most of you konw thats sad,

However will be back early next month when MLR will be riding higher.

There are deals already being done in tat respect6 as I previously outlined, dont think for one minute this board is standing still.. The Accorus deal was well planned and times and look to to the near future to see the Chairman Geoff Mcmillinans's operations being intergrated as well.

This will be one highly competitive company as which is why we are building a substantial holding now at what will appear to be really cheap prices in the not too distanct future. Sales to the NHS are allready greatly improved as the next reslusts will clearerly show.

I keep telling you all to stand by for blast off, pity there are so many unbelievers.

Piruxi - I do concur that the chances of another placing near term is extremely low. I believe the funds that have recently bought in will be looking to see the Acorus deal be fully integrated & focus put on generating healthy profits, before managements time is diverted into further new deals.

However I would not be surprised to see some of the profits generated to be used to purchase further late stage products.

It is notoriously difficult to time when stocks like these actually start turning. The important thing is to be in them whenever they start turning.

In the meantime I am interested if anyone sees any flaws in the thoughts listed in post 1160

PS if I were you I would not be waiting for the AGM as my analysis indicates that the market, agreed still a little weary, has tagged MLR as greatly undervalued. I think we can deduce that the AGM will be good for shareholders, howevver there is always talk of further placing to fund new ventures. Personnaly I dont think that there will be any placings for funding for a few years if any.

Once this is generally realised and accepted I feel that a 100% share price increase is not unreasonable.

As said stand by for blast off.

I regret if my somewhat fillpant aproach to share dealing may not sit well with some, but I genuinely do not take it all too seriously and would hate to get all frustrated each time I looked at my screen and then have to moan here.

But that does not mean to say that I dont recognised a wealth maker when I see one, and Mr Wright is such a dishey hunk with impecable manners and dress sense and that goes a long way with me.

Good post asp5 bang on in every respect, and more or less what I have been saying, now you can see why the negatives here are so very tedious and dont do the same research as you and me.

Count down to blast off, oh yes I like the bit about the previous management, you are so right as I have said back a bit here it was the image of the old company not the new sgares whcih are holding the share price back as many dont undertand the fact that MLR is now a new company.

I have just run over your figurings and in general fully concur and also I admire your patience in setting it all out in a readable manner, I see shares as a fun thing and dont have the attention span, nor the desire to do what you have admirably presented us here with, well done. However I am good at spotting these wealth makers and in an unscientific way which afforded me to get in a little earlier than most here.

I have no doubt that your post will add a few pence to the share price in the morning well done and thank you.

crazycops - fully agree. We could also get some info in the agm statement that should be due soon. A positive statement would tempt me to top up again.

Excellent post asp5 - it will take confirmed results for the market to get it and even then perhaps not until a decent note and corporate presentations are made. The next likely indicator that things are on track (and I expect 'ahead of expectations') will be end of September with a pre-close statement.

Couldn't agree more about the drivel that has been dominating this board of late.

Yes you are right listening to all those negative vibs is rather tedious, much better to smile in anticipation of the fruits to come.

With a name like foreverhoping its quite sad really and says it all.

Hubby and me have hit it big in shares for years although he leads.

Looking at my medical shares potfolio, mainly a nasty colour Red today, MLR has had another gr8 day, ticking away to blast off.

And guess what I an every so pleased to be tedious and positive as its a far better disposition , than the ever negative.

In this world we have people who are positive and those who are negative.
Those who are rampers and those who are derampers.
Those who look at both sides of the coins, and do not have a blinkered approach to any stock. I like to think I look at the cons as well as the pros, to form an opinion. MLR has held up well in shocking markets of late, now that has to say something, and the results may or may not confirm their real worth.
