Nice little tick up to start the day on a 90k buy. I bought another 150k on the bell last night so on wards and upwards!.
I'm no chartist but it does look good for a substantial rise.

Bungee I topped up this week not really bothered at the current share price ,once EP arrives new PIs will be paying 10p minimum for Moil shares .

Agree John ,if the seller was not there we would have been a lot higher then 4p by now.

At present there is a forced PI seller imho once removed share price should be free to move up. EP permit is certainly long over due.

unless of course it an ADVFN glitch error? On level 2 there is no UT trade and yet they were showing AU ? Can a non sets stock go into auction?

John Henry, there were in auction on 15th same as they are right now and again at the same time as BOIL & INFA. The coincidence is strange when there appears to be no connection.

I dont think it will be much longer before this makes it out of the current range and gets over the 4p level, then it should start to motor.

Absolutely no chance AIM, we saw how quick this can move and how thin stock can be when demand and interest picks up.

Agree squire i think once the share price breaks and holds above 4p then 6p would be the initial target.

EP due anytime according to recent reports.

MOIL simply way off the market radar at the moment

Not a great deal of stock around at present, buying could get very tight when volume picks up.

I have sold some PANR to invest here, i see this as the greater upside potential over the next few years.

MKT cap 20M is plan crazy

I think those sitting on the sidelines may regret when the EP is announced.

My own reading comes up with the following, i give these comments as my research only and intend no advice, thats for you to do, but i feel MOIL is about to re-rate. Should we pop up over the 4p mark then i truly believe its all systems go until 12p but further upon the grant of the environmental permit as that is truly transformational for the company.


The company was awarded a 25-year development mining title approval for block 3104 – Tsimiroro. The Tsimiroro block controls greater than 1.7 billion barrels of contingent resource base and covers the entire 6,670km2 of Block 3104 including the Tsimiroro Main Field. This development mining title also covers appraisal activities of conventional light oil potential in the Tsimiroro South and Tsimiroro Deep South.

Madagascar Oil has spent over $300 million in the past ten years through drilling 138 appraisal and pilot production wells in Block 3104 – Tsimiroro; and additionally, designed, constructed and is operating the Tsimiroro steam flood production facility while maintaining its excellent safety record and an environmentally-friendly approach in the vast biodiversity Region. The workforce is currently comprised predominately of Malagasy national employees representing 85% of all the staff positions.

Currently we are waiting for the Environmental Permit to be granted at which point the company will be able to choose from the options of farming in others, direct joint venture or raising money to go it alone. Robert Estil the CEO has years of experience in heavy oil and will be able to take full advantage of the simply massive oil that MOIL has leases over. The company is already in with Total and i would expect some kind of further and enhanced partnership with Total in the future. Symbion, another huge American company, has just secured a contract with the Malagasy government to produce electricity for Madagascar. They have sited a huge generator next to MOILs current oil plants.

The Dark Horse MOIL hasn't been in auction today.

Is there any connection between the fact that we always seem to be in auction at the same time as Baron Oil and Infastrata? I noticed some moths ago that the latter two were doing the same thing and a few weeks later they announced that Baron had taken a position via lending INFA using a convertible.
Could just coincidence of course
