Ouch comedy! I don't feel so bad now.
;)
Not T+ trading, gave that up years ago as it was too stressful and time consuming. I just didn't expect it to fall back so soon. All bought and paid for, 150k shares, so a two week view is now a two month view.

bt...no one can give 100% gaurantee...however ive read all the rns...if you look at bigger picture moil has been going 10 years??? and always been backed by placings(at significantly higher sp's than current)...the main shareholders have given loans...so the final hurdle is now the ep...may come this month or next month???or longer???but my timeframe here is 2016...ep will come and they will move in to finally earning revenues...this has a 25 year production which is a lifetime....

problem is if you are t trading then mm's will try to get people out before moving it back up...the mm's have gone short and now all down to the ones who sold at top if they believe this is a good entry point...ive traded some over last month or so...but my original buy was 100k in shares...and now sitting closer to 150k in shares here...the volume yesterday was a few guys...imagine the share price movement when other funds and the main stream will want it.

not easy to look at now i know as my pt is down over £150k in last 2 years:(

Just stick with it mate, the MMs love to scare the living daylights out of day traders. I have to say that day trading is very very difficult. Far far better to take a view on say, a month. Its much easier. But then you have to allow for 2 or 3 months, things always take longer than they should. Bottom line with MOIL is, i firmly believe, very good future as described above in different posts.

Good luck anyway. Dont forget the paper loss is no loss till you sell. I know only too wel how hard it is to look at a paper loss, but my advice is buy small amounts and hold till well blue.

Squire/comedy,
appreciate your responses and I did do a few hours of research before buying. I was made redundant last September and since then my portfolio has dropped around £40k so to buy yesterday and within a couple of hours be down over £2k on paper is painful, especially when I have no other income (before anyone says it, I know I only have myself to blame!). I also fully agree with jh that the 'tone' of the RNS really came over as quite aggresive.

Comedy i don't buy the funding issue. If and when the EP is awarded, imho the share price could quite easily trade up towards 10p.

The first oil exploitation phase Tsimiroro approach. The specifications with the information necessary for the issuance of the environmental permit in Madagascar Oil should come out at the end of this January, according to the explanations of an official of the Environmental Assessment Service of the National Energy Board Environment (ONE).A license that will add to its mining operation permit and transport of hydrocarbons, expected to last 25 years. This environmental permit will be issued by the NEB.The results of the environmental impact study of operations were filed by the company Madagascar Oil to the NEB in June 2015.An impact study which focused on the monitoring of standards at the national and international level, including health and safety, and the monitoring of the commitment vis-à-vis society and climate change that adopted by Madagascar relative to the COP21.After seven months of study of the file, the Board is now wrapping up it and proceed with the development of the specifications.According to the explanations of our interlocutor, these specifications constitute the environmental management plan (EMP) for Madagascar Oil.Local productionA public hearing was conducted at Akondromena, place of extraction, and the surrounding villages in August 2015. Last September, a public hearing was also conducted at regional, national and in October.About three-quarters of those whose opinions were taken joined the mining project, explains the official. The project could create up to 500 direct jobs and 1,200 indirect, just for the first phase. The oil exploitation Tsimiroro, first phase "Phase 1a" could begin in February. The production of this first operational phase, scheduled to start in February, is for local consumption. Indeed, until now, the Tsimiroro deposit is capable of producing 6000 barrels per day over an area of ??hectares 3054, which is still very little for export. He also explained that the extracted oil has yet to be added to diesel to 15%.Currently Tsimiroro slows down production because the current stocks indicate up to 130,000 barrels already available. It should come any day now ,which I think the future partners are waiting for before signing the dotted line

Comedy my gripe is with the tone and some of the wording used.
Appears an attempt to real kick the share price as hard as they could.

I honestly agree, but i feel the MMs were the ones who moved the price up so fast on about 3 million traded shares. We had also seen previous days of 30% - 50% moves with nothing said.

jh the bod need share price to stay low as it will keep the main funders happy to create their funding deal at this low share price ..just b4 we move to sales...and the 10 years comes to fruition...if share price cracks off they have a problem explaining why funding parameters set so low...

plus mm's pals are short so can u fire a no reason for share price rise rns...standard practice...look how many bailed yesterday at loss.

each buy and they want more...plus bear in mind we are just lower to buy than yesterdays start price..and those who sold at 6p who believe in the co. could quite easily come straight back in for the actual ride ...all it needs is 2 or 3 more buys and watch how the low entry point will disappear...remember market has gone short and they dont have the stock to fill the orders!!!

bt..this is a play for 2016...the permit will come in...and the sales will start....ive been watching since october and read all the rns from the co. i then waited till december to buy 100k...only to see it drop to the sub 2p level!!!! and had no funds to buy...ive traded some on spike and bough them all back so overall got more shares. this will be one of the big gainers for 2016...from actual lws this year has already done 300%...but i see this as a 5 to 10 year hold and the graph just going up and up...they have billions of boo onshore...only downside is it is heavy oil

this really is a decent company trying its best to get ol to madagascar. They will have to get the environmental permit before doing anything, i think the permit will be granted very shortly. NOthing has changed from yesterday except the company thought yesterdays valuation, ie by the MMs, was high.

Nice start.
:(
I'd have been as well just taking the money out of the bank and handing it to the guy sitting on the corner of the street.
Ah well, another short term investment gone wrong. Probably will come good but really didn't want to have any more cash tied up waiting for a recovery. The past six months have been horrendous, especially with the OXS RNS just before Christmas. That was a real kick in the balls.

Strange they have never commented on the near total destruction of the share price in recent times. BB speculation hardly, there was a few posts. To be honest I thought peeps had heard whispers of the impending EP arriving.

I think the wording is very standard when they can give no definitive answer.
They said they were responding to ...

The Company notes both the recent rise in the price of its ordinary shares, particularly over the course of today, and the speculation on the bulletin boards with regard to the Partner Process

PARTICULARLY TODAY...SO IT WAS STILL UP OVER 50% VERY RECENTLY WHICH BY INFERENCE THEY THOUGHT WAS FINE.

It was the MMs who marked it up not us, and they marked it up on a small amount of trading. They totally avoided any mention of the Environmental Permits. Very interesting one to watch, and not for very long. I totally stand by all i said.
